Shalendra's Catch (Sithlordnergal, Trymeike)

Shalendra nods as she casts the spell to hide you all. She then heads on post and gets her assignment. Within a week she was back out in the front, headed to a planet the humans currently held.

it was a day out from the arrival as we stretched and nuzzled within her.

The soldier gathered her weapon,s grimacing slightly as she settled into the drop ship. "Hooo boy...this is always the worst part..." You would all hear the engines whine and the ship shakes as they enter the atmosphere, batteries firing at the ships.

we wiggled being jostled by her movements.

Shalendra takes a deep breath, then charges into the battle. Raising her weapon, the armored soldier would fire at the nearest mech she could see, running for some cover within the ruined city they were fighting in.

with magic the three pets observed everything that was going on.

It was pretty chaotic, difficult to tell what was fully going on between the smoke, fire, noise, and movement. The woman seemed pretty well trained as she took down mechs and humans less then half her size, though she didn't seem happy about doing it.

we paid attention to elsewhere as well, seeing if one side was actually winning or losing as we were jostled around heavily.

It seemed like Shalendra's side was winning, pushing the Humans they were fighting back.

we wiggled at being jostled around and continued to observe with magic.

You would all notice that a sniper was taking aim at Shalendra. The woman didn't notice as she fired on a fairly well defended position.

magically a shield was raised to defend her from the bullet from her instinctive use of our powers.

[sithlordnergal]

The sniper yelps in surprise and fires again. This time Shalendra would be aware of him, and fires a single shot, killing the hapless human.

her squad notices this unusual ability she used as the battle goes on.

[sithlordnergal]

Shalendra wouldn't notice it until one of her squadmates commented on how she was really lucky today. It seemed like nothing could hit her. Frowning, Shalendra tilts her head, and once she was alone-ish she pokes her belly. "Is that you guys protecting me?"

we said no, but that she seems to be instinctively using some of our protection magic.

"Huh...I will have to let my superiors know...This could really help u win the war!"

"alright then.'
the battle wound down.

As the battle wound down, Shalendra would go to see her commanding officer, collecting any human survivors along the way to be processed as war prisoners.
