Caring For Woodland Creatures

Ruby smiles as she pants. "Take your time little one. Normal kits are born with their eyes shut, so be careful." She pushes your shoulders out, then pauses again. "You'll have plenty of time to adjust."

I nodded a bit, closing my eyes to try and help myself from straining my eyesight. I wriggled to try and help get myself up and out. It was so bright...

With one last push and a small grunt, you slide most of the way out. Ruby, still smiling and now starting to purr once more, starts to gently clean you off. "There you go...let's get you cleaned up, and when you're ready, you can have some milk..." She keeps licking and nuzzling, gradually cleaning you.

I slide out, not ready to open my eyes, as I feel a bit cold and vulnerable. I nodded a bit, snuggling close as she cleans me up, and I help her with that best I can.

Ruby smiles as she bites off the umbilical cord, then, satisfied your soft fur was clean, gently moves you over to her still bloated belly. "How about some milk? I bet you're hungry." She guides you to a milk filled nipple. "Of course, if you want."

I blinked as I was put onto her tummy, finally starting to open my eyes a bit as I take one of her nipples into my mouth, letting instincts help me when I suckle.

Ruby purrs as she watches you. "Good. Drink up my sweet, adorable, little kit!" She nuzzles you. "Soon, you'll adjust to your new body. It might take a few days though."

I nodded, continuing to cuddle close as I drank from her, enjoying her still-soft body...

Ruby grins. The plan was going well..."I can't wait to see what you think of the new you! But we'll take our time in finding that out."

(Well...Few days later? I don't really know where to go from here lol.)

(Yeah, let's skip ahead to when Miles is able to see himself. )

A few days past, and I wasn't quite ready to open my eyes yet. An odd feeling for sure, but so far, Ruby was taking good care of me. Thank goodness I gave her so much padding from our time together...

Ruby yawns as she watches you sleep. It was early morning, and she herself had just awakened. "Miles...Its time to wake up...come on...I wanna see if you can, well, see." She says softly, giving you little nuzzles and licks.

I murr a bit as I'm nudged and licked, before waking up, stretching. "O-okay..." I attempt to open my eyes, and after a little hesitation, they come open. I blink at the world, immediately going to look at myself.

Ruby smiles as she watches you look yourself over. You're a little bigger than a normal fox kit, with short, but very soft and fuzzy reddish brown fur, similar to Ruby's. Most notable is you look much like a female kit...because you are.

Ruby giggles. "So, what do you think of being a fuzzy little kit?"

I blinked in surprise, getting on my side, lifting my hind leg...shocked to see I had female parts, rather than male. "W-wha...? I-I'm a girl now!?"

Ruby giggles. "Yeah, I warned you of that earlier, remember?" She frowns. "Although, you were falling asleep..." She shrugs. "Well...its already done unfortunately. Like I said, I can't decide your gender." She thinks for a moment. "Its...random more less."

I stared in disbelief, before sighing a little. "O-oh..." I Looked up to her curiously, blushing. "S-so, like...am I stuck like this, then, Ruby...?"

Ruby frowns and shakes her head. "Of course not." She giggles. "But..." She gets a more serious face. "For you to go back, you have to have a litter of your own."

I blinked in confusion, looking at my crotch, then looking to Ruby. "Wh-what do you mean by that, then, Ruby?" I was going to have to have some of my *own* kits?

Ruby nods. "When I changed you, it gave you...additional genes that you now have to get rid of." She grins. "Only one way to pass on genes you know."

"...so where am I going to find a mate, then? Do I have to go through a pregnancy, and when I'm done, I'll...be a guy again?" I felt so confused...and I was still getting used to being a fox in the first place!
