Beyond the Spiral (tacorem and Nornico, we're back!)

"Well, perhaps some rest inside a fellow wolf critter my do you some good?" Matty suggested, finally opening his eyes and looking down at his belly with a smirk, still rubbing at it's sides. "I mean, it's worth a try, right?" He said, starting to snicker at the idea. "But at any rate, you should get comfy and chill, we've done a lot of walking, or at least we climbed a lot of stairs... Matty adjusted his position just a tad, so that he was now fully laid across the bed, instead of having his legs hanging over the side. It didn't change Theo's own center of gravity, but he could feel his captor moving, shifting about. Theo started to realize just what a day it had been at Matty's suggestion. He, or at least his body, seemed to suddenly remembered the fatigue to his legs and huffed as the numb heaviness hit him. I think the king wanted to see us, and I'm not sure if they're kind of into this here" He admitted, as he climbed back onto the bed, and started to squat. "Since it's you're first time though, I'm going to make sure you finish with a full tour experience" He said with a smirk.

"I imagine they'll have a bath somewhere, unless these guys are that primitive... then again, they live in a giant tree" Matty remarked with a shrug.

"I would think that would be even more alarming than a sleep of night sweats," he said with a sigh, trying his best to wipe off as best he could, eventually using the bedsheets to get himself reasonably dried off before getting dressed. "This is just fine, perhaps if I should stay inside again, you could drink some water in the morning," he chuckled to himself. Not long after they had awoken, the guards that had escorted them before returned to bring them back to the king's chambers.

"If it's there, I'll do my best" Matty assured Theo. "But hopefully we'll find a place where bathing is an option" He remarked, now fully clothed as the guards arrived at their door. "Well, looks like it's questing time" He remarked, flicking his guitar pick in the air and catching it. "Which means it's also walking time" Matty said, facing dropping, before he smirked at Theo. "Yeah, but you're wishing you stayed in now" He pointed out with a slight chuckle. He gave Theo's shoulder a pat before they set off, following the guards back to an audience with the king, once again.

"I think not, for both our sakes. I can't imagine how tiring that would be on your legs, and I can surmise that it would be quite the bumpy ride," he said with a swift flick of his tail against Matty's elbow as the demi wolf pat him on the shoulder before they were escorted back up. The walk back to the king's quarters was not so lengthy as last night's had seemed. Perhaps it was because they were fresh, or knew the destination was not far. The king was waiting for them as they were brought in and announced again to his presence.

"I hope you slept well," the elderly king rumbled. "I understand that some cannot grasp the concepts of a new place so quickly, and I say you have my sympathies if such was the case." He shifted in his seat for a moment before sending a guard back behind the large curtain behind him. "Now then, as I said prior, I have a delivery I would ask of you to take with you," he said, as the guard returned, carrying with him a solid looking, sealed wooden box. It appeared to have a top lid as a means of opening the crate, but the top was sealed with some sort of paper plastered over the top and onto the sides, with markings of some sort written on them. "As you were looking for a destination, I would ask as a favor that you could take this crate with you, and head north to Rithmere. You should find it to be quite the delightful town, and they are holding a festival there for the next week, which I highly encourage you to enjoy. You can accept the reward for this delivery in full, as payment of this service you would do for me. You will be delivering this crate to Zanna of the Hero's Hall, it would be hard to miss when you get there."
