Aloe appears at a meeting spot arranged by Amber and Acacia, having just dismissed her invisibility, awaiting her companions to arrive soon. Marble was flying on her Roc to the place, letting Ruta come along on it as well, while Jade preferred to fly by herself. Ruta gracefully dismounts and then catches Marble dropping down after her, who has the Roc get up overhead to keep track of the surrounding area.

amber smiled. "looks like we're all here then?"

"Yes!", Aloe confirms, Acacia having had enough faith in her familiar that she saw no need to get involved besides having her take on the task. "So, what's the situation right now?", she inquires, Marble blushing modestly.

"mhm well we are almost to the holy mountain I need to be escorted too to perform the holy dance to banish an approaching elder evil from the world." amber hugged each of her guards in turn.

Marble looks up to her bird, curious of the environment they'd have to traverse - getting briefly startled as Jade lifts her back up on it. "Relax, I'll probably have to grab and take you away some time~", she assures her.

Aloe nods. "Do you have any information on forces working to prevent our advance?", she asks, needing to know which places are safe to reach with her teleportation.

"we cannot teleport in this region. and this is the nearest town to the sacred mountain. there are definitely evil forces working to stop us but the nature of them is not quite clear."

Aloe looks a bit concerned, as teleportation is her specialization. Still, her Circle Dance spell should give her direction whereever she ends up. Jade manifests an extended Expansion, quadrupling her size for 10 hours, carrying Amber while letting Aloe grab onto her back. The Roc has Ruta mount up again, transporting her and Marble.

amber relaxes. "we all going there now?"

"Certainly.", Jade says, flying next to Marble's Roc while looking out.

"alright."
they began the journey. the mountain was a weeks walk from this town so 3 days by flight. assuming nothing happened.

Going through the travel pace, Marble notices they won't have to press on at full pace, peeking out to find inviting spots for pausing or resting. "We shouldn't just focus on luxury", Ruta reminds her, holding her to avoid her falling off, "There might be other advancing forces or threats we should be mindful off. The forces of evil will not surrender just because we seal the overlord."

"that is true."
amber cuddled Aloe lovingly. "we got to remain wary."

Aloe enjoys the cuddles, leaving it to Jade to keep watch. Marble lays back for cuddling Ruta herself.

it was 2 thunder worms. colossal incorporeal magical beasts. they would reach combat range in 1 minute.

Aloe hastes the group, detaching herself from Jade to fly on her own for this encounter. Ruta drops off and casts Summon Nature's Ally IX, providing herself with an elder air elemental to stand on. Jade uses offensive precognition for a +9 insight bonus to attack rolls. Marble just uses her crossbow while the Roc casts Shield Other on her.
