Refuge from the Storm (Private between Mellorine and Icheo)

[Mellorine]

"It's a promise." Nibita replied, playfully shoving Icheo into the mug of water.

[Icheo]

The mouse smiled widely as a reply, before letting out "Whoa!" as he fell into the mug full of water. He swam back to the surface, looking at the fox "Heh, you DO have a small part of your evil side after all." he joked, chuckling before splashing your hand with water.

[Mellorine]

Nibita giggled as Icheo splashed him back. "Yes, I'm back mousy boy! And I've come to give you the whirlpool of death!" the fox said with a smile and a fake gruff voice, stirring the water with his finger and making the mouse spin around in the mug.

[Icheo]

"Oh no! Not the whirlpool of death!" he exclaimed with fake terror in his voice. "Wheee-Erm-I mean-Aaaaahhhh! Stop it you mean foxy!" he said as he was pulled around in the mug by the water.

[Mellorine]

"If that doesn't get you, then this will!" Nibita said, pushing Icheo underwater, and imitating maniacal laughter.

[Icheo]

"Oh no! Not that, you evil fox! Please don-!" he says playfully, feeling the finger of Nibita push him under the water. There he giggles and pulls onto your fur weakly, like if he would have been begging you to stop.

[Mellorine]

"You're quite the persistent one, aren't you? I've got other plans in store for you though." Nibita said with a straight face, trying his hardest to cover up his laughter.

[Icheo]

The mouse climbed to the surface of the water using the finger's fur. "You and your sick, twisted plans will never get me! And the good Nibita will come to help me!" he said, clenching his hand into a fist and swinging it about over his head.

[Mellorine]

"No one's coming to save you. So, you can give up all hope and accept your fate, mouse." Nibita lifted Icheo out of the water and moved his hand around quickly while he was still hanging onto his finger.

[Icheo]

"You're lying and and you know it! The good side of Nibita is better than you!" he replied. As he was moved around in the air, Icheo wrapped his tail around Nibita's finger, just to be sure he wouldn't fall. "That's your big plan!?" he said, laughing a bit.

[Mellorine]

"Oh, there's more to it than you think. I'll swing you around until you beg for mercy." the fox answered, swinging Icheo back and forth by the tail like a pendelum.

[Icheo]

"Well, at this speed, you'll only entertain me!" he said, finding the ride quite amusing for the moment, laughing a bit as he was swung back and forth. But he knew that, after a little while, it wouldn't be as fun as it was in the beginning.

[Mellorine]

"Ah, I don't remember the last time I've had this much fun!" Nibita said with a gleeful sigh as he continued to swing Icheo around.

[Icheo]

The mouse chuckled "Hehe, me neither." he said, sticking his tongue out and smiling widely. After being swung for a few minutes, Icheo looked up to the fox "Okay, I'm actually starting to feel a bit sick, heh. Could you stop please?"

[Mellorine]

"Heh, heh. Whoops, sorry about that." Nibita said, dropping the mouse into his hand.

[Icheo]

The mouse giggled as the fox stopped swinging him and put him in his hand. He was a bit dizzy at first, but after a dew seconds, he was alright. "Heh, no worries Nibita, it was funny!" he said, smiling and sitting in Nibita's palm.

[Mellorine]

Nibita checked the time and said "It's a shame we have to cut this short. They're probably worried about me by now. And the last thing I need to do is make up more excuses."

[Icheo]

The mouse looked at the fox sadly, a bit deceived to have to leave him. After all... even though Nibita had almost killed him, it wasn't really his fault, and Icheo liked him. "So... this is it?" he asked "This is where our roads split?"

[Mellorine]

"For now, yes. But don't worry, that doesn't mean we won't see eachother again. Come back again next month, you'll know where to find me. And next time, I'll do everything I can to protect you. We'll both be ready for him."

[Icheo]

The mouse nodded "Okay..." he replied. Suddenly, he had an idea, and told it "Hmm, would you mind if, while you are gone, I stay in this house?" he asked, looking all excited by the idea, hoping that the fox would accept it "I mean, I'll be protected of any predators, I won't take so much food from you, due to my small size, and I could wait for you in here, safe from anything that could harm me. It's much better than waiting outside..."
