The Ogres House

Jack's mother had warned him about Henry. Like a good parent she was concerned about who he associated with. Henry was not the kind of kid she wanted her son around. He was a ragged little orphaned farm runt, always where he was not suppose to be and dragging those around him into trouble. This trouble however is what attracted Jack towards Henry. It was a sense of adventure mixed with the right amount of cheeky mischief. What glorious tales they would make. Tales like his father use to tell before his passing.

Everything had turned out alright so far. The abandoned mill, the rocks by the river did not bring about any lasting tragedy. Except for some slippery rocks and some juvenile intoxication nothing had gone wrong so far. There were never any ghost, monsters or mysterious beast in any of the dark places, why should the bog be any different. Most of the stories of missing youth were just cover stories for runaways who grew sick of the slow pace of village life. Something Jack wanted to escape himself, but deep down he was a loyal son and could never abandoned his mother.

Today's adventure included three, besides Henry and himself there was Tom a slightly taller slender lad. He did not speak much and always had a grin across his face as if a confidant to an inside joke the rest of the world was excluded from. He had a knack for finding entrances and despite his silence, he was always good fun. The three made for an odd trio. Jack looked like a house cat playing with two strays.

The bog itself was deep in the woods. When they were kids they were told stories of an Ogre who lived there and liked to feast on small children, swallowing them whole. But they knew these were just tales to warn kids away from the muck and mud.

The three made their way, joking and startling each other with bad Ogre impersonations. The outer areas provided much fun, they made use of the old huts for imaginative adventures. But the center Island is what attracted them. An Abandoned tower stood on it, years of wear and mystery stained on its crumbling walls. It was rumored a princess had taken her life their centuries past, scorn by her lover who she cursed with the form of an Ogre. It was rumored you could still hear her cries when a blood moon shined red. And tonight was a blood moon.

Dusk was setting and Henry wanted to spend the night in the tower. The only way across the foreboding muck was a rotting log. Henry and Tom hopped on with no hesitation. Jack paused, highly doubtful the integrity . Henry jumped a few times to reassure him, Tom joined in, his shit eating grin egging Jack on more than words ever could.

Slowly, arms stretched out for balanced they tiptoed across the log. The closer they got to the center the more creeky the log became. Finally they heard a snap and the log shifted downward with a jolt. Tom lost his balance and fell into the muck and began to engulf him. He flailed about in a vain attempted to slow his descent. Henry and Jack reached out towards hims and then another snap echoed out. They felt the entire log give way as they plunged in, joining Tom.

As they sank slowly , flailing about until exhaustion overtook them. They watched the sun settle behind the tower and contemplated their end . First cursing one another then forgiving as wanting contentment before their demise.

As mud slowly overtook them a giant figure appeared from the tower, its silhouette cutting a beastly outline around the setting sun. It was a massive figure like a bear, three or four times bigger than any man. It approached and seemed to stare at them for a few minutes. Their arms stretch out towards it hoping for any savior in their hour of need.

Its massive hands reached out towards them. Plucking all three out of the mud like and dropping them in a basket like a farmer harvesting his crops. They just layed there tangled upon each other too exhausted to move. They felt the beast lift up the basket. Jack looked up upon the thing staring down at them. Hungry eyes and a snaggle toothed grin big enough to swallow a man glared at him. The Ogre poked a finger down on them. Feeling their boney ribs and cleaning away the muck covering their faces. It lifted its finger to its tongue and gave it a lick. The hungry grin grew wider and the monster brought them inside.

The basket tilted the three tumbled into a trough. Jack felt his clothes being ripped off by large clumsy hands. Soon he could feel cold water rush over him as those hands fumbled him and his friends, around, their naked bodies toppling into each other over and over again. He could feel rough scrubbing as the cold water washed away the dirt. Finally the beast looked down at them, satisfied with his worked. He picked them up and placed them in a small cage hanging from the ceiling. Shivering and scared the trio clung to each for warmth and futile protection as they inspected their new surroundings.

The tower was mostly hollowed out, the upper floors long collapsed. The moon gleamed red through a poorly thatched roof and rusty armor and rotting furniture was scattered about. In the center of the room under a glistening moon a skeleton in a faded dress dangled with strands of golden hair still hanging from its skull.

The beast went to the skeleton and looked upon it. His hungry eyes turned sad as he looked to lose himself in memory. After some time had passed his trance broke and he looked back to the boys. He nodded to himself and went to the corner and opened a barrel in the corner. The smell of berries filled the room. The beast reached his hands into the barrel scooping out a handful and mushing them in his fist. He plopped the jam like substance onto a plate and placed it ever so lovingly under the hanging skeleton.

His made his way to the cage and examined the boys. Tom’s never ending grin did not break, even though feared filled his eyes. Amused the beast grinned back toothless and reached his large hand into dragging tom out like a doll. Tom put up a little fight but exhaustion had overtaken him. Jack and Henry tried to grabbed at him but their strength was nothing compared to the Ogres.

He plopped tom into a bowl and went back for the other two, grabbed them each with one hand around the waste. They wiggled but it was to no effect. They were tired and their bodies had given into their fate.. The Ogre plopped them into bowl with, falling into a tangle of nude bodies.

He went to the barrel and took out a handful of berries. With his fist he mashed them over the boys head and a jelly like substance oozed onto them. It was cold but sweet feeling good against their tired bodies. Soon they felt the ogres hands toss and lather them about trying to work the jelly all over them.

Jack licked his lips. The wild berries tasted good and he gave himself over to their sweetness. FInished the ogre lift the bowl and made his way over to the skeleton, seating himself at a table under her dangling body. In a tongue unknown he talked to her softly. He grabbed a spoon and fed the skeleton in her dropping mouth, the berry moosh flopped into her mouth and drooled down into her ribcage to finally slowly drip on the floor under her.

Finally he put the spoon down and reached into his bowl. Grabbing a hold of Tom e lifted him up and stared at him. Toms eyes grew in fear but the grin never left his face, his skinny body dangled from the beast hands as it joking grinned back at him before tossing him into its mouth. Jack and Henry's face froze with fear as they watched the ogre sloosh their friend helplessly in his mouth, ever slowly savoring the juices on his body. Finally with one gulp Tom disappeared into the beast Belly. With satisfaction the beast let out a gasp and looked up at the skeleton, muttering words which seemed to express contentment with his meal.

Finally the beast went and grabbed Henry. Henry did not go easy, he kicked and screamed and bit. The beast dropped him one time before giving Henry a whack against the table which seemed to daze him. He balled Henry up and placed him into his mouth. The small boy began to fight again as the Ogres jaws closed around him. The beast just sat relaxed as Henry flavored his mouth with his struggling.

Finally the beast reached for Jack. It grabbed him around the waist and examined him. It rubbed its fingers against Jack's smooth skin. It licked him once from crotch to head and then displayed him to his hanging love. The skulled seemed to stare down at Jack as if nodding in agreement on the quality of this meal. Jack was a lot finer, tender meal then his normal farm rat. His skin was smooth and white and wrapped ever so lovingly against his slender frame. His black hair enunciated his green teared filled eyes as Jack contemplated his fate.
Finally the beast placed jack in his mouth. Ever so carefully. He smooshed him about licking every bit of berry Jelly off Jacks smooth skin. Once all the berry sauce had been removed the beast gave jacks naked body one last lick and then paused. Then with one last jolt jack felt himself jostled back and falling. Finally jack landed in the in a tangle of his withering friends. He could feel the stomach acid tingling against his skin. He closed his eyes and gave himself over to his fate.
