I know I have to start adding backgrounds to my work to make it look interesting but I always struggle with making the page too crowded with pencil markings to the point where I have no idea what the hell I'm drawing anymore. Anyway here's some examples from my deviantart page.

does anyone know how to figure out how to make a color pallet? I want to do a night scene but I don't want to use my usually over saturated way of coloring. I'm also terrible at figuring out how to come up with a decent color pallet to use.

Here are some wips of a comic I'm doing based off of ElPortero's giantess Elle. Still debating on whether to do them in black and white or color.

Does anyone know how to better add shading and highlights to drawings in Photoshop CS2? I always seem to fail miserably in that department
