I'm not an excellent artist so my opinion doesn't mean much, but I personally really like it.

It looks good, I like it. I maybe mistook what you were saying. I thought you meant 'first time drawing', but you meant that it was the first time drawing this sort of thing. I especially like the way that the prey turned out--artistically speaking. She actually looks quite nice as she lays back while being gobbled up. If I'm being honest, the snake seems to lack some of the level of detail that his meal has. I can't entirely put my finger on it. But the overall piece works quite well and this is a good job.

Not bad for a first piece! Two small critiques: the shading is very blocky and inconsistent (still pretty good for an early piece though) and the breasts are rather physics-defying considering the position the prey is currently in (boobs are both soft and heavy, which means they flatten out a lot when a person is on her back like that).

I think it's great. For a first attempt, I am seeing lots of potential. ^^

The best thing I can say for advice is to take notes from both photos and drawings that will help in establishing both a style and technique with perspective and proportions.
