Judging by the grammar of the dialogue, I'm assuming English isn't the author's first language? I'm not going to say that's the case for sure, since it's better than most native English speakers I know.

Aside from that, not many synonyms to "royal" are available. The word is only used three times throughout the comic (I checked), so synonyms aren't really needed. And maybe she loves to emphasize how royal she is.

Heh, poor choice of words on my end then. Just don't like seeing too many of the same word. On the other hand, there are words like Regal, Imperial, Sovereign, Dignified or Majestic to signify higher status. A bit more vague, Glorious and Honored.
