Monkey Drop

Postby PassingStranger » Thu Dec 14, 2006 1:46 am

Last night I posted a simple flash game called Monkey Drop.

http://aryion.com/modules.php?name=2&g2_itemId=95578

The game is started by clicking on the title screen, but I didn't write any instructions telling people to click on the screen. My concern is that people are getting to the title screen (which looks pretty crappy) and thinking, "Oh, a crappy picture. No reason to click on it."

So, of the people that have seen Monkey Drop, how many of you realized it was a crudely assembled game, and not just a crudely assembled picture.

PS Catching monkeys just increments the monkey counter. The game has no end.

I didn't see it till this post, so it was clear right away. I'd say if your worried about it then tell people it's a game in the description under the name. I did have a little trouble figuring out I had to shake the mouse to make the monkeys fall though.

Wow it very nice work, although AV isn't really my thing. It's great to see these kinds of creative things.

I liked it, though you should put in a reward or something :) Like, every 10 monkeys or something, it'll give ya a still pic of the elephant..Maybe with a cutaway showing the monkeys inside her. Of course, that would stop at a certain point...

Also, finish AV 150! :P Monkey Drop is fun, but still...

Thanks. I seem to get a lot of praise from people that don't like AV.

Hmm... you were right about it being crudely assembled, but the images and the concept are frickin' sweet!

The monkeys were really hard to see, but it was very entertaining and a good addition to the small number of AV games out there.

Well, MaxTwenty made two I think. Though the one AVing was a nonanthro horse, so there's currently zero for human women.

I know what you mean. I hate monkeys. :x

Anyway, I've been thinking about doing a labrinth sort of game where you wonder around and slay vampires by AVing them. The only way to truely kill a vampire! I'm having trouble coming up with a story and setting.
