Okay guys, today I was in a theatre in Melbourne to watch a movie about magic and has Jack Black and Cate Blanchett in it. And before the movie came, there were various other commercials. And there was one commercial that was an ad for a website that was labeled “Let the world hear your voice” or something, where there was a montage of several life action people screaming victory cries during stunt or sporty feats (there was even one guy screaming bubbles underwater in a swimming pool)

AND THEN, there was this one anime-sequence sequence where the camera was inside the mouth of an anime girl with her uvula wiggling before zooming out to reveal she’s screaming in a stadium filled with several other fantasy creature-looking folks or various shapes and forms. Anyone ever come across something like that? :O

If so, can anoyone put they’re fingers on what the commercial was? :O

I think we'll be able to find it if we figure out the name of the website it was advertising. Maybe you could try to see more movies in that theater and see if you see it again?

There's a really cool mouth zoom that I remember seeing when I was little. I'll try to describe it the best I can.

There was a series of cartoon shorts that I used to watch on television and I believe that they were from the 40s or 50s (somewhere around that time). Anyway, there was one segment that has been on my mind for years. In the segment, I see a female moose singing and dancing. From what I remember, the moose was wearing a dress and had lipstick on and I believe it was dancing the charleston. Then, out of nowhere, the moose turns to the camera, opens her mouth wide while hitting a grand finale high note and then the camera slowly descends all the way into her throat. Also, from what I remember, the segment is in color and as the camera slowly approaches the moose's throat, her uvula wiggles a bit before the camera enters the blackness.

Trying to find this will be like, as the old saying goes, trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Egads I found it! Turns out she isn’t a moose, she’s a donkey or mule named Moutha Bray from the Merry Melody “The Woods are full of Cuckoos”

Tell me about it. I find out all the time that the mawshots I saw in my past are less impressive than I remember them to be. I remember asking around for the zoom in Braceface (this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPFOrYxneWk) and being disappointed when I found out that the zoom didn't show the uvula shot that I thought it did. Brains are funny that way.

Now that I've watched the Moutha Bray bit from "The Woods Are Full of Cuckoos," I've noticed that there's something else I was wrong about. The singing and dancing mule's uvula is small and doesn't wiggle when the camera enters her mouth. It's still a Class A mouth zoom and I can't help but watch it again and again.
