Barbara Dunkelman, the voice of Yang from RWBY, and host of a Rooster Teeth show called 'Always Open' showed her tonsils in the most recent episode of the latter. The episode itself is called 'Barbara's Huge Tonsils'. It's not a close up, sadly, but they are very clearly seen.
