Second Life Vore?
Is it even possible to have actual (visual) RPs in Second Life? or is it all just chat and characters?

It can be both, but it requires alot of scripting and effort to get done. I've contributed a few things into the SLVC, but nothing really too flash ;

I think so. I've seen quite a few vore-like screenshots from SL. Unbirth too.

It would be nice to see some screenshots of the work here

It can be done, but it's pretty limited... if you have low expectations/low standards, it might be cool - but i think text still beats it by a longshot.

Re: Second Life Vore?
for now, i have to agree with unicorn, right now the closest ive seen to something decent would be teh now defunct ryu valley. there was quite a few interactive macros to interact with there.
the vore club might be a good place for us vores to meet. but everyone there still needs a LOT of work before it looks good, however we (as vores) are making some large gulps in the field of the visual RPs. with the inclusion of a recent addition of the vore prim. we are one step closer to the visuals that we all love.

There's a vore gesture, im working on a vore stomach/vehicle, and I know a few others are contributing. It's come a long way, especially with sculpty prims now. To say that it's limited is only a statement of your own imagination.

I saw some folks working on macros large enough to admit people inside (saw a huge snake you could walk fairly far into). These are statues, however, they aren't animated.
I started work on one last year on a vixen large enough to swallow a normal sized av. I was able to modify a script (modified elevator script) so that if you sat on a cookie and said 'swallow me!' the cookie could be 'swallowed' by her. The path the cookie traveled had to be straight, so there were slight problems in that area (not protruding outside the pred)
but, I could sit on the cookie and go down the throat into the stomach. The second problem came when you realize it's hard to make a truly huge pred av and have not stick out like a sore thumb in the sim.
Once inside the stomach you can set out poseballs (the splash ones work great) to have animations for when you arrive there. Not perfect but as close to getting swallowed in SL as is possible.
I checked into the RYU valley macro room and it still exists, but has been drastically changed. The mouth and stomach in the mouse hole are no longer there, nor is the huge AV chamber.
The husky that dangles you over her mouth is still there, as is the giant vixen w UB. There's a kitchen downstairs with a giant squirrel manning the sink. Hopefully it will continue to be improved with time.

Is this at the new castle vore club? I went there yesterday, no one there (surprise surprise ). But saw a lower area that I didn't know how to get into.

Well, its as Ranger said, it can be done close enough to perfection with alot of animations, scriptings, and possible building. I did have a friend who had started on a vore AO (animation override), but shortly after she started she took her leave from SL for reasons..Thought about doing it myself, but there isnt much I can do atm for that. Im more skilled with making houses than anything.

Yeah, SL really just plain blows. It gets worse with every update too... I have very little faith that it will ever be any good, especially for vore. All the eye candy does is distract from one's imagination.
Buuut, that's just my naysayer's opinion.

Re:
You find it that bad?
*shrugs* Fair enough, personally I'm very comfortable with holding alt and ghosting my camera around, or the simple WASD system to move... but then I've been at it for quite some time now...

According to Charem's Furaffinity gallery, you can buy a vore animation from the Second Life Vore Club, but as Unicorn said, it's limited.

Yep, it's finally on sale,. It does the job pretty admirably considering the limitations in secondlife, but sadly there's still nothing to be done about the clipping of people's oversized wings, since so many people on SL seem to like having wings bigger than the rest of their bodies.

Re:
There are limits to how small you can make your avatar without using an animation overrider, which will break most things that animate your avatar when you use them.

Either way, that's a lot of programing to get it to work. I've never tried SL, but seeing it here (and on Science Friday ) May just convince me.
How much is this vore script?

300 linden dollars, which is about US$1.43 at the current exchange rate.
