Anyone know a good colorizing guide?
I'm looking for a guide on coloring pictures using photoshop. Can anyone help me? (also, if the guide talks about how to make decent quality line art you will make my week)

tips
i dunno any guides. but heres some tricks ive learned.
1: if u scan in a picture in pencil first thing you do is
image > mode > Greyscale
image> adjust > levels (and adjust till it looks good)
Image> mode > rgb color
this will emimate all the the funny colors you scanner pics up from common pencils. make sure u turn the mode back to RGB color or whatever the default is or you'll only beable to color in greyscale.
2. also by default the layer u first scan in is locked. right click on background layer in layer menu and select "make copy" then delete or hide old background layer. then you will be able to alter it
3. select > color range
this will allow u to select and only alter one color on a whole picture.
4. layers layers layers. know them love them, and use them!
5.on ur layer menu u will see "opacity" with a percent next to it. this controls how transparent that layer is.
this is good for shodows(black) and soft highlights(white) amongst other things.
6. use "file > save for web" on final piece so ur pictures can be put on web. unless theres some other program that u know of thats better at it.
any ways. thats just some stuff ive learned.
