Prey gets to see their own scat

The idea here is, if you have oversize prey and a long creature (dragon, snake, naga, mermaid, ...) and sufficiently quick digestion, assuming it's a feet first (or at least not head first) scenario, some of the prey might already be on its way out before the last of it is even on its way in.

I also saw a picture once of a snake seeing its own tail scatted, but I don't remember the artist and can't find the link, it was a humorous one off though

I think this has a lot more potential, and I would love to see someone play with the idea. Especially if you have willing prey who are into scat, and a bit of magic at their "disposal"

Awesome! Wish it wasn't M/M though, of all combos that's my least favorite. But still cool.
My critique would be that it got over it too quickly. Poor Reece was swallowed all the way before he even got a good look at his remains.

The soul of a digested prey swirls out from their captor's nostrils like the sweet smoke of a vape. Daylight, sweet daylight. The sun shines through their ethereal body, but that matters not, they are free.

Their suffering is over, they're having quite a bit of trouble accepting what happened to them but they are relieved that their torment is over. They no longer feel stinging acids or pulsing walls. Their eyes no longer burn from the acrid air they were subjected to during their time inside the stomach. The weight of not only life, but their agonising death, is lifted off them by the hands of angels. They are about to float skywards to the clouds, seemingly enough free. The sound of grunting prompts them to turn around, gaze down upon the mortal plane they once inhabited.

They see the last of their physical form being dumped into the grass as a stinking pile of faeces.

They ascend screaming.
