The changes in this new patch version cumulate with all former versions changes (look at their respective change logs for details):
- Fixed the bugs that caused the skills (athletics, fitness, drinking) to yo-yo while their XP level was low. Also fixed the issue where training for those skills is totally fruitless when either of the current fun or socialization levels are at 0 (2).
- Fixed the bug that was causing the hospital fees discount to keep being applied even after the player character stopped working at the hospital. Also fixed the bugs in how this discount was applied (it is now properly applied to the fees, and not to the accumulated bill).
- Fixed the too large hunger changes while sleeping (your body consumes less calories/Joules while you are sleeping than while you are awake); I already fixed it previously for in-belly sleeping, but failed to fix it for all the other cases (e.g. when the pc passes out, or even when they sleep in their bed).
- Fixed the bug that caused the NPC prey names to appear as "PreyNN" in the phone directory.
- Fixed a bug in the Pawn shop "unique items" menu, which caused a failure to show the Belly Slut collar when both this collar and the Automatic Tablets Dispenser are available at the same time.
- Added a post alcoholic coma wake up scene with Dr Grossman when the pc wakes up at the hospital.
- Added an intermediate level of fees when the pc gets healed at the hospital with moderate wounds.
- Implemented a new cloning feature (set at game start and when loading an old game), so that you can opt for getting the player character replaced with a clone when they die (the clones do not know they are clones), instead of getting a "game over" end. The way it works is explained when the game asks for enabling this option or not. (3)
- EDIT (v2.61): Fixed the font size being too large in the History window, causing long lines to overlap and be unreadable.
- EDIT (v2.61): Fixed the bugs which caused conversing characters to vanish from screen when weather changed (e.g. in the Ice Cream Parlor, at the Beach, in the Park, etc).
- EDIT (v2.61): Fixed the bug which caused a dialogue with Bessie in the bar to spuriously switch to a dialog with a reformer prey (darn stupid RenPy call ... from ... tracking!).
- EDIT (v2.61): Fixed the bugs causing Sigrid to be absent from her hot tub while her schedule did place her there. Added a proper intro when she is already in the hot tub and the pc joins her.
- EDIT (v2.61): Improved Sigrid's interactions, and made sure a pc with a bad relationship cannot get sex with her (loopholes existed, that are now plugged).
- EDIT (v2.61): Fully revised the alcoholic coma algorithm to be more logical (for example when drinking at home or at a pred's home, loose consciousness and wake up at the same place) and more fun (more risks to be vored by Beatrice when loosing a drinking game, or by Jasmine when the pc is her belly slut, for example).
- EDIT (v2.61): Added more opportunities for Jasmine's super belly-slut to get vored by her in "Agency" setup (i.e. to get a "No Agency" gluttonous vore scene).
- EDIT (v2.61): Revised the way Sigrid and Jasmine give their phone number to the pc (especially when the pc is their roommate).
- EDIT (v2.61): Added the missing breast-feeding scene display when Bessie breast-feeds the pc while demonstrating how she makes ice cream.
(1) Patch for a0.49.1 will be made available by Sriseru via the paying users' channels.
Please allow for some delay in the publication of this patch, due to time zones and schedules discrepancies.(2) I did not dare removing the skills training dependency to the fun and socialization levels, even if I do think it is very weird: I don't see how having a lot of fun or socializing a lot could help you and train your body... Maybe something Sriseru could reconsider.
(3) This is the closest thing to a "reform" feature I would ever implement; reforming is
totally unrealistic and looses the dramatic aspect of the death, while cloning, in a SF setting, is "less unrealistic" (4), and it preserves the dramatic aspect (the initial character and their clones still die for real).
(4) Though, the memory "priming" of the clone is still very much unrealistic (could happen via an electronic brain implant, perhaps?), and so is the fact the clones are as old as the original character (accelerated clones growth/aging?... Maybe something to explore further with, for example, a side effect to this acceleration which would cause clones to have an "expiry date" and die after a while?).
You may apply this patch following the same methods
as described for v1.30, using one of the two following files:
