THIS GAME IS NO LONGER BEING WORKED ON/UPDATED/ANYTHING
Please don't bump it or anything.

CONSUMING OCEAN

OVERVIEW
Okay, so I'm restarting this AGAIN. I'm not giving too much information yet. I plan to add a little more information every Friday. For now, I'll just say this project has gotten a lot smaller. It will be focusing more on gameplay and less on jamming vore and sex in every little thing. Don't worry though, those two still are very present. :V

There will not be a demo for a while. I plan to get the game at least halfway finished before I think about a public demo. I am doing private testing with a few members from this site who have helped me in the past. I may add more testers as time goes on, but if I do, I'll contact you if I want you to join. So please don't ask to test. :V

STORY
Feyla and Sirel were on a joint mission between their two nations. On a ship sailing through one of the lesser known regions of the ocean, they encountered a terrible storm. The ship was destroyed. The two wound up on the beach of an unknown island. Now they struggle to survive on an island gripped by war between beast and man.

Will they take a side to help end the war? Or will they simply try to get back home? Or perhaps there is another way...

CHARACTERS
Playable Characters
Feyla
Main Heroine
Race: Human (Mesai)
Age: 20
Class: Recruit
Bio: She enlisted in the Mesai army to chase her dreams. After her short training, she was immediately sent on a joint mission with the nation of Sidol. She's a bit sarcastic and even a little rude. However, she doesn't deal with disasters well and tends to panic.

Special Ability: Shapeshifting - Feyla can change into different forms to solve puzzles or defeat enemies.

--------------------------------------------------
Sirel
Main Hero
Race: Human (Sidol)
Age: 22
Class: Battlemage
Bio: He was on the ship with Feyla. He has been in the Sidol army for 4 years and has a bit more battle experience than Feyla. He's very noble and caring. He tries to see the good in everyone. However, he rarely trusts any sort of politician or leader. He feels a very strong urge to protect Feyla.

Special Ability: Combatant - Sirel's stats rise at a slightly higher rate than everyone else, due to the fact that he is a natural adventurer.

--------------------------------------------------
Amelia
Feyla's New Best Friend
Race: Wind Elf
Age: 20
Class: Huntress
Bio: After Feyla and Sirel save her, she offers her help to the two. She's very nice and very very easy to embarrass. She tends to push her kindness onto people, whether they want it or not.

Special Ability: Sharp Eye - Amelia can spot hidden items if she is in the party, due to her impressive eyesight.

--------------------------------------------------
Celina
Curious Catgirl
Race: Noancel (Catgirl)
Age: Unknown

Thanks for the replies. I've finished up 2 new monsters since I've posted that.

-Harpy
-Slime

The harpy was kinda inspired cause I never really see them in vore much. The slime has turned out to be really good though.

Next on the list is some... Walking fish-thing. (Curse my lack of knowledge in mythological creatures)

I've also noticed that if you do make it out, the animations for the same creature the next time tend to mess up. After a few tweaks, I figured that out. If all goes well... You may get to see a full demo soon. :-D

Umm, I have a problem. After downloading it and whatnot, when I try to play it, a small black screen pops up, then vanishes, and I can't play it. Is it just my junky computer again, or did I not do something? Help, please?

Every 2 posts I will reply!

I've finished the Naga "eating" animation. It's a little choppy, but I'll probably go back and redo most of the animations.

I took out the Walking fish-Thing cause it was being a pain to animate. But, now I've decided to put in....

-3 dragons (2 snake-like, and 1 more wyvern-like)
-... I could have swore I put something else in...

I think I'm gonna take a break from animating and get some of the actual game areas done now.

Again, thanks for the replies.

@tetsusaiga: Not sure. Did you install the "xp_rtp102e.exe" or whatever? And if you are using Vista, try compatibility mode to XP. Otherwise, I don't really know anything else.

Yes, I did install it. I'm not using Vista, I'm using IE, but I'll try it that way. Maybe it works the same for IE as Vista. I'll give it another go. Oh, and good luck on completing your game.

@Tetsusaiga: Sorry if it doesn't work. There's nothing I really know to do on that.

@Paradox: humans will be in it, do not worry.

for now, It's pretty much just a hide and seek game, but who knows... I might get the urge to change it up a bit.

Oh, and.... I've gotten a decent amount of areas done. That means the actual game is starting to take form. :-D

In order to keep myself going, I created a quick demo for those interested. First post has download, and here it is too -> http://www.sendspace.com/file/ppfdfy

This demo contains....

-1 large room
-5 different creatures
-4 of 5 have "eating" animations
-If you "fail" you now get the option to come right back. No Game Over screens!
-Massive amount of creatures (Check attachment)
-You get a score at the end that tells how many seconds you survived!

WARNING: May lag a bit on slower computers. I'm sorry ;_;

Tried making RPG once myself, though i stopped after 2 weeks.... the self creation of creatures. sounds and stuff wasn't(how do you tell it...) funny to me... it was just boring for me....I maybe can think of a story and create levels with such an RPG maker... but I lost interst in making a Vore game
