Furry M/m Vore Games?

Postby Deioth » Mon May 04, 2009 5:03 am

There's a real lack of M/m vore games, period, but since I only really enjoy furry vore, that's mostly what I'm hoping to find. It seems to be a fad to make RPG maker vore porns, but so far they all involve a lot of female and human as opposed to male and furry. I plan on a serious project with RPG Maker over the summer, but if there happens to be anyone with artistic skills willing to help and there's enough support for it, I might side project some furry m/m vore game. If it becomes a reality, I'll be sure to ask for ideas, though I've plenty of my own... my only hope is that I can script them all and that the script language is powerful enough to do what I'd like to do (that goes doubly for my serious project lol).

In the mean time... Anyone happen to know of any furry male oriented vore games, or know of anyone working on one?

Sadly not, but if you find the need for a professional Game or Level Designer, look no further. (well, semi... I study Game Design, quite adept at innovative designs, I must say)

I do wonder why everyone's making RPGs, though...

probably because it's vastly easier to make RPG's than anything else

I'd prefer other things personally

Hmmm, easier to make RPGs? Since when? o_O I mean, they're very much asset-intensive compared to platformers and such...

Since they came out with a program specifically for making them.

RPG Maker was released back in 1988. It's been easier to make RPGs for awhile now.
Interestingly, the same company also has progs for making fighters and strategy games, but neither one really took off, and so they never got much good.
The crowd is definately ready for a vore platformer or fighter or anything else at this point, so if you can, you SHOULD.

Well, after my venture with RPG Maker, I might pick up a book on Torque and try my hands there ]X8D I do plan to use a more real world engine and translate what I did in RPG maker over to it with improvements and sell the game independently, maybe through Steam, and have a vore project on the side once more.

I myself love Multimedia Fusion as an engine, it's simple and you can make great games with it, and unlike GM, they don't have serious lag issues... RPG Maker is all good 'n well, but you pretty much get stuck with a copy-paste game similar to all other RPG Maker games, which is, to me at least, quite off-putting...
Game Maker is quite good too, even easier than Multimedia Fusion with a good learning curve at that, buuuut there's lag issues beyond belief -_-
Flash... eeeeh, I dunno why it's so popular, really... It's not as easy as some, not as advanced as others, and you still have lagginess... Useful for movies and vector graphics games...
Torque... Never tried, hope it works out fur yoo ^^

Even with having a Rpg Maker. It's still not easier to make a Rpg over a platformer honestly. I mean I can't make either but with Rpg maker, there all this string of codes and commands you have to give to each character and it turns out annoyingly hard to a person who has no idea what they are doing. Even with a platformer, if someone had the right tools and were able to do something. A platformer sounds a heck of a lot easier to make since all it is is going left to right in a stage designed with enemies that run based on how they were led to move.

But that's just my opinion. I actually think the ones that are making the rpgs are really skilled at what they do since they could have made a different genre game a heck of a lot easier than a long rpg with many things to do and everyone has something to say and such. It's a lot of work!

actually, platformers ae hell harder for movement and stuff... (A good platformer anyway) in flash you need to program the gravity, AI of enemys, even the camerea to mave across the x axis and slightly with the Y axis. you need to program the walls and floors so that you don't float ontop of get teleported outside ofthe game when you hit it at a bad angle. Then you need the health/ score ect.

RPG maker is basicly selecting codes, and much easier/ funner t ge into. This doesn't mean its not skillful though ^^
Ask me about anything! It can't hurt to ask :)

I also think I like using XD too much.... xD

Hmh, a vore game that is centered, or even contains a good amount of m/m vore?
really, it would be nice if there was a good amount of such stuff.^^

Well, if I had any good artistic skills, I would gladly join any team trying to design such a thing, yet since all I am good at with RPG makers or similar programs is writing dialogues and the like - and since I guess this is the activity people usually aren't so desperate to get covered by someone else - I guess I can merely root for you... ^^ ()

There are loads of RPG maker games out already and true, they are all somewhat the same, but especially if one isn't that good with making their own graphics and stuff, it is a pretty convenient device and I think it is no wonder so many people use it.
However, I also think a vore game that isn't just traditional RPG elements with some vorish story and some stills to go along would be quite something to look forward to, I mean, I wouldn't bother paying for that.^.~
