Alright. I'm giving this RPG making a try. But I don't know how to change the size of the playable character. Please help me out!

Export the sprite sheet, resize it with MS paint or something. Import it back to RPG Maker.

Also, be sure to safe the file as a PNG image. There may be problems if you try another format. I had to find that out the hard way ^^;

Use GIMP actually. Paint can't save transparencies.

transparencies do not matter as if you import it correctly (going into the import panel and actually importing it from there instead of placing images directly into the folders)

The import panel is found in a button next to the database button. (rightmost I think, It's one of them)

Bmp or Png are recommended if you're going to import as Jpeg reduces quality alot.

And as they said, just resize in paint or something.
