The Program with THIS SYMBOL?
I've seen it around in various programmers' games, but I can't seem to find the program that goes to it anywhere. It seems like it might be good to try, since I can't find anything else that might help besides the built-in tools that come with Blender. Can anyone help?

Java? That looks like a version of Java's symbol.
I keep trying to add my signature here but the only thing I've done is put ink all over my screen.

Ah, but the files are .exe files. I thought Java was just for internet applications?

It is, indeed. It's also an icon from the original "3D Ryonage" game. I'm wondering what programs were used to make them.

Java can be used for server and client-side stuff, in fact, Krish's vore game is all jar files.
Minecraft, as well, uses Jar. Java.exe is actually what runs jar files.

Re: The Program with THIS SYMBOL?
But there are no .jar files in either folder. There are .dll, .hsp, .ax, and in another folder some .qua and .sig files, but no .jar.
(Note that these are filenames that only apply to the old 3DRyonage game)
A list of the main files would be:
3DRyonage.exe - Application - 188 KB
e3dhsp3.dll - Application Extension - 2,784 KB
ダウンロード.txt - Text Document - 2 KB
hsptmp - File - 24 KB (No noted extension)
packfile - File - 1 KB (No noted extension)
ryonagetest8_0.hsp - HSP File - 24 KB
start.ax - AX File - 16 KB
There's another folder with different files in it, but those are probably model and texture files. Are these files that would normally go into a Java-created game?

Sir, you are a genius. I had completely forgotten that Google had that feature.
However, I'm only getting results in Japanese, and that's not really helping me out. Plus I can't find the area in the linked site that would have that icon. Anything you can do that narrows it down a bit?

Did you know Java / Jars can be stuck into an exe? Flash can too

Re: The Program with THIS SYMBOL?
I'm not sure if this is in fact a program logo. I see it used all over next to various links. Some of which, the icon is definitely not a logo for (gmail).
It might be being used as a post icon, like how a paperclip icon usually indicates an attachment.

Just to clarify. It's not an icon I saw next to a file on the internet, it's an icon I saw next to the file in my folder. Difference between an .ico image and a .jpeg.
Also, the two games are from completely different authors, and were beta when released with that icon.

I think you entirely ignored some of the filenames that mattered, as well as my question.

I see,
Well, the context I saw that icon in was different. It was being used a lot on japanese language boards, and not in association with a program. It's probably possible to find it's origin, but as I don't speak japanese, it would be difficult for me to locate it's source.

Re: The Program with THIS SYMBOL?
Hm, interesting.
The Brothersoft results are understandable, since this seems to be a default icon for some sort of "maker" software, and brothersoft is full of indie programs. I found this icon in all sorts of things, including a notepad application and a video splitting application
(http://translate.google.com/translate?s ... d5&act=url)
My recommendation:
Don't spend any extra time looking.
Why? Well, a quick look over the internet suggests that this tool is used in some fashion to create computer software of a wide variety of types. And that software all seems to be Japanese.
I can only conclude, then, that the tool is in Japanese, and almost certainly does not have an English language port, given the sparsity of things made with it, the indie nature of the tools and games made with it, and the absolute lack of English search result. Given that the OP has not been able to get much info from the all-Japanese sites, I would further conclude that if the maker-program were found, it would be utterly useless in all Japanese.
Also, presuming that the OP is interested in making a game like Fromage, it can be safely assumed that this specific tool does not make the programming of that type of game particularly easy. Since the tool is used for a wide variety of applications, it would seem that it is equally suited to a Fromage-like game as any other game making resource, and not *better* suited.
So... Game Maker 8?

This icon is default icon of "Hot Soup Processor"
The Last Dungeon English Version(v0.1.0)

Thanks to everyone for their help. I appreciate all the theories and research, but it seems to me
kirica wrote:This icon is default icon of "Hot Soup Processor"
That the "aye"s have it.
Also, to answer the assumption (presumption?), I've moved on from making 2-D games and I'm actually starting to get interested in the 3-D genre. Game Maker was fine for awhile, but I hear it's terrible for 3-D, especially with collisions. Since the simple 3D Ryonage game was made with the engine I'm looking for, I imagined that it might be easier - or even better - to use than Blender or especially Game Maker.
Ah, also, most tools have headers like (H) or (T) so that I could usually guess what they're used for. If not, then programming languages aren't in Japanese at all, so eh.
Lastly, though, at the very tip of the end of my post, I must ask kirica...
How do you know? Used HSP before?
