There's usually a scene whenever you defeat a boss where you can decide which party member you want to feed the boss to.

I am still working on the game, but I am not a fast worker. Sometimes I have bouts of inspiration, and sometimes I get really stuck on what to do.

Tell me if you find any bugs, or give me feedback in general. That is what gives me energy to make this game.

So, with the events that are happening in the world, plus having to get a new pc (and therefore losing save files) I've been replaying a bunch of the games here on eka's, but I'm currently stuck, and don't know what I'm *supposed to do*

Spoiler: show
I'm at the section where you play as Eris (after the heir gets sucked into the whirlpool and vanishes) and I remember I got past the general somehow, but I forget exactly how (I might've just brute-forced it by leveling Eris a bunch, but I know thats likely not the intended way ^^; )
So what exactly is the trick to beating the general? :D

There should be some people left in Heirs camp that will join you.

Thank you for the help! :D it was much easier that way. Sorry for the late reply, just been playing it through for a while, and forgot to reply until now.

^^; Though I am stuck again.

I did the mage town/tower and have done everything I can think of to progress the storyline in Fiishis, but nothing seems to work :( I've gotten into the mansion, spoke with everyone in town (and everyone in the mage town, and camp too) but nothing seems to progress anything, or change anything. If you could tell me what I'm missing it'd help me a lot :-D

Sorry for the hassle ^^;

Around the 1hour, 10 minute part they are in the Fiishis village.

If you are stuck, watching this might help.

Glad to see this game still going!
:gulp: a new party member you say? I had been waiting for an excuse to restart from the beginning, so I might just give that a go.

After looking around a bit, I found some of the newly introduced bugs from the feature list!

Spoiler: show
Using the Diary gives this error:
Image

Maybe related to taking Lupa instead of Jeeves?
On leveling up Lupa, the popup says she learns Double Strike (or similar), but she learns Wolf Form instead. (Wolf Form is stackable also, which may or may not be intended?)
I also discovered a couple of times when Jeeves would comment on something despite me bringing Lupa along:
- when looking at the maps in the map chamber in the starting castle,
- in the forest when opening the chest guarded by bandits,
- when trying to enter the City
Also, it seems I cannot swap Lupa/Jeeves in the base camp, not sure if that is intentional (or maybe something that is allowed later on? I only just started).

OKay, let's see.

The intention is that you pick either Lupa or Jeeves. Do they both show up?

Damn Diary, i need to take a closer look on that.

I have no idea what is wrong with the popup.

Ah, I might have missed some spots because the introduction of a new character made me do a lot of "Condition: Character in Party" instead of just them talking.

Good job so far.

Have 4 Bright coins for your work so far.
I'll see if I can fix these.

Save often and take screenshots if you can if something weird happens.

Yes, when entering the Tent in the camp, both Lupa and Jeeves show up. You can interact with both, but only small talk with them. The same is true after upgrading into an Inn, both Lupa and Jeeves have their own rooms and are interactable. I found a few other places where Jeeves commented on things, but due to frequency of this happening I started to think it was maybe intentional. That is, until finding Jeeves' notes in the Overlord ruins and Lupa wondering what happened to him ^^; I considered that quite odd, as he had been along for the ride the whole time. From memory, he did show up a few times in the assault on the City event, once when interacting lingerie closet and maybe in some of the cutscenes. I will keep an eye out for more examples, now that I know it is unintended.

I wasn't able to recreate the diary bug.
When did you check the diary?

Initially it was quite a ways in before I even checked the diary for the first time, seeing the crash. But I kept quite some of the earlier saves and I have narrowed it down to not that long after starting the game. I escape the castle, get to the Camp with Lupa in the party, then I use the diary and the crash occurs. I have attached a save file for your convenience.
Also, it seems Jeeves always has something to say when you play the Choose Your Adventure books :)

Another small thing, in the Temple of Pagis, if you complete it and invite the Goddess to your legion she responds, but is labeled Chamenos (the other Goddess) instead of Pagis.

I think I know what is wrong.
Normally the script would call on the icon index.
But I forgot to add it.
See example under.

# LIST:
# LIST = {
# :journal_name => [icon_index, "entry 1", "entry 2"... etc,

:entry2 =>
This number indicates that it pulls an icon from an index.-> [358, "The heroes are sieging the castle.
I need to get out of here
before they tear it down
with me still in it."],

:entry3=>
I forgot to add this number here. ["No one usurps my father but me.
This requires revenge.
I will find allies and I will
avenge my father by defeating
these so called heroes."],

So since I forgot that number, the rpgmaker base script that usually draws those icons only get a letter input instead of a number input.

Alright, keep up the good work.

Any tip on the battle with the Countess? I'm level 10, party is Heir, Lupa and Lilah. I've tried stocking up some potions and stimulants, but even if her minions fall easily enough she seems pretty much impossible to defeat for my team. Am I doing something wrong?

If you explore the land you might find a fourth party member to even out your party.

I am not sure what you are saying here.

I've ended up noticing what I missed, thank you. Is there a walkthrough by any chance? The Youtube play session seems to miss the fifth part. I've completed the current version, but I've most likely missed something in the first part, I don't have Ssirta in my team.

If you talk to the orc builders they can build a bridge to the volcano.
