Solved the problem for me too, and at that I'm going to see about going through it while recording it too. No one seems to have posted about this update on youtube (from what I can see at least).

:Update on the Java clearing fix:
From what I know, the next time you load the game you may get the issue once again making the way it "Saves" none-functional. but I have no idea... I'm kind of just some rube with a computer who made a lucky guess... Errr, Yay!

I downloaded Java 6 and the game worked again. Once. Afterwards the loading screen thing happened again.

If you compare the sprites between this and Milia Wars(the prequel) you'll notice that the sprites in this one are much smaller thus justifying the addition of the word "mini" to the end of the title

No, they are always the same size.ThatRandomGuy wrote:later in the game is she going to shrink down
The size of the sprites has not really anything to do with the title of the game. ~_~"Kavvanshrike wrote:If you compare the sprites between this and Milia Wars(the prequel) you'll notice that the sprites in this one are much smaller thus justifying the addition of the word "mini" to the end of the title

"Characters is basically the same as the Milia Wars, are depicted as the title of Wars mini, deformed in size."
I derived that from that rough translation but I guess the fact it's just a small(er) game version is likely as well

Anyone else still hyaving problems with the game loading even after updating Java? I updated Java and it played again once, then went back to not working.

Yeah, i have the same problem.Evil_Lord_Proteus wrote:Anyone else still hyaving problems with the game loading even after updating Java? I updated Java and it played again once, then went back to not working.
After i played the game once, it doesn't work anymore and went back to freeze at the loading screen.
It looks like, that the only solution at the moment is to delete the temporary internet data (cookies and the temporary java data in the "documents and settings" folder) after every playing.
After the deletion of this data it worked again, but only for the next time i started/loaded this game, then it went back to the same problem. =/ ~_~"
Is there not a way to prevent java to save data of this game or in general to the hard drive?
This is really annoying to delete the data after every playing. *sigh*

This game worked for me the first time, but when I try to go back to it, it's stuck on loading.

Re: Echidna Wars Mini [UPDATE: 07/13/12]
The game has been updated on the blog but it's only to make the game work again after transferring it to the new host. I have noticed that the game seems faster in general now, and the slimes are able to scale walls/raised terrain better than before. In the third level in the sewer pipe room where you slide through the wall crack for the HP up, the slimes were previously unable to jump up onto the raised terrain where the hole in the wall is, they can now jump up there and get you.

Counting the starting area (where you can test the controls) as one, then there are 4 levels/stages.

Don't fight, run past everything.
Game is suddenly easy.

Not sure how effective this is, considering several spots they make you stop. I got my games mixed up.

Re: Echidna Wars Mini [UPDATE: 07/13/12]
I've just found that going fast is the best way to cruise through everything. Most enemies can just be jumped over, you don't need to kill anything iirc. It's been awhile.
Edit: Played it again. The archer is the one you need to keep alive, since her double jump "floating" thing is what you can use to jump over nearly everyone. Stage 2 is kind of hard, but Stage 3 is a joke.

Does anyone know when there will be a new update released...I mean it's been a couple months, I would of thought they would have a couple new stages already....
