Nouvi, it looks like your save file has commas where there might need to be periods! The settings change below has worked for other GameMaker users who have experienced similar issues:

psvorefan1520 already spotted that as well, and similarly confirmed it's as you expected it was as well - an OS localization issue. *usually* sofware is coded to accept both period and comma as decimal separator (or the other way, force a certain separator when saving), but sometimes it may slip through really. It's all up to whenever it gets fixed now, so not everyone needs to jump hoops with silly settings.

If that dun work, tell me what OS you got and we can get some advice going. Maybe what archiver you're using to unzip it.

"Unexpected errors" usually come before the .exe is even loaded. That said, I could also use a pic of the error message.

What's your country of origin? More importantly, what is your computer's localization set to? Further, have the PC's basic settings been adjusted in any way (perhaps as a workaround for another game or some such)?

Also, are you able to play any other games at all?

I'm trying to troubleshoot, but the emphasis is on "shoot" right now.

My localization is set to english (united states).Saturday i set my localization to japanese in order to play other games and yes i can play other games when i either set it on japanese or english.

I'm sorry, I'm running out of ideas. I would like that picture, because then I could tell if it's a Windows error or an error from my program's debug box.

The answer is hazy. The internets are speaking, but their words are unclear...

I Googled. Windows base code and settings are not my forté, so I haven't a clue what it might be, and it does not appear to be a reproductible issue.

The internets suggested it might be performance-based, assuming your computer doesn't have enough memory for the job, but I can run it on a 2G RAM laptop, so I'unno how that's possible.

Unless you're secretly running a Windows 98 salvage upgrade?

Alas, that's all I got. Tell me if you randomly fix it somehow, and I'll commit the fix to memory. I'm sorry, but that's all I can do.

this was a common problem on gamemaker games
you need to update directx

if your windows copy didnt came with the latest dx9 update then you are running a really outdated OS
you probably should check on that

Can someone give me an opinion on how big this game is? Because this is messing with my head a bit.

I was a little disappointed with how short the game was, but what little there is is packed with good stuff. Overall it was enjoyable, and I'd honestly like to see it updated further.
There were a few bugs that were game-breaking, such as phasing through walls in some levels and camera bugs. (You can look up or down during the snake fight and it screws with the camera, for example.) Oh, and sometimes the coin sound turns into an ear-rape.
Does the bird actually have a vore scene or does it just kinda loop? I kept waiting for something to happen, but nothing did.

Looking forward to see what you do with this, if you continue it, that is.

I'm sorry to say that the bird level was never... Quite finished. I kind of just kept putting it off and never really got it done.

That seems pretty normal for me at this point. My apologies. I have no excuse for only creating... Not quite half a game. Technically finishable, but never finished.

It's taking forever to get where my head needs to be. If there is ever an update, this topic will be promptly notified.

But I haven't even gotten to the bugfixes lately, if that says anything.
