Changing the player walk speed in the game files should be possible, but is not recommended.
Because, you have to look through all created events and see if the player walk speed is changed somewhere, and need to change the speed to your desired amount after the end of the event again.

It is impossible to enter the secret room.
If I recall correctly, it is supposed to be open in the merchant room, but it is unfinished and there is no script to open it.

Inside was supposed to be the bedroom of the secret girl, which is the white hair maid you can usually meet in the afternoon.
From what I remember, from that one time I snooped around, there was also a diary/note in the room, in which we could learn this character was supposed to be the owner's daughter, or something like that, and prob other lore stuff (sorry, my memory is a bit fuzzy, it was quite a while ago I looked at this).

Kind of a shame this is abandoned and unfinished, since there was already a lot to like about this. It's kinda fun to play every once in awhile too.
