Just by glancing over all the files, there were a ton of sound files (In OGG Format) added, and what seems to be a fair few more maps.

Means that you didn't extract it with a japanese locale. Files will be missing if you don't have japanese set as your language for Windows. You can tell this is happening if you get files like er&#[] as file names and whatnot. I refuse to set my locale to japanese however.

If you're using a third-party extraction tool (Such as 7-zip) you also need to set its language to Japanese. (And yes, this means navigating menus/etc. in Japanese.)

Bad news for me... Without windows I can't play this... I switched to linux because most computer viruses are programmed against microsoft products like windows, and linux is basically the internet, as they run on the same code. Can't virus me unless they want to mess up everything, and nobody's stupid enough to try something like that, they'd have the entire world after them.

There are vírus for linux tho, it's just very unlikely to get one. You can play rpg maker games through wine, and for text hooking I think VNR has a linux version. Or you could make a virtual machine and play inside it

I'm like, 200% sure you don't know how computers work. Just install windows on a partition, and if you're worried about viruses, just always run windows without networking. It's not really worth only having linux. Also, linux isn't immune to malicious software... It's just different. In fact they're usually designed with people who know more about computers in mind, so they're harder to find, and stop. So... yeah.

I didn't say that linux was immune, just that only idiots would try, as they'd become a threat to the internet if they ever got enough resources is all... Can you imagine the wrath that would bring if such a threat became viable?
