So I found the file with all the dialogue and I'm able to change it, but when I do It doesn't show up in game. Love the dialogue in the game, but is there anyway to change what the dealers say? Thanks :)

Erm...where did you find such a file? I *think* it's packed with the game, unzips itself into a temp somewhere, and loads into memory fresh each time you play. But GameMaker does sometimes do things without telling me

I think I see the same thing. I'm not sure when it showed up, but there's a dgData.ini file in the directory with the game. It looks like it has most or all of the dealer dialog in it.

Huh. In the directory with the game? Are you in Windows XP?

Yes--I think that'll work. Though, you'll have to tweak all the position and width information manually to make everything fit. Aside from that, I'm not sure where the package dumps its content on normal run

Journeyman, have you considered putting the donation progress bar thing back in the OP and making it clear (with some kind of bolded text or something) that you're still accepting donations for the next dealer? (If that's actually still current). I think the lack of donations towards adding more dealers might be more because people don't know what's going on than because enthusiasm has dried up.

DatNoob123, every 10 wins against any dealer! ;) Pretty neat, though, right?

Try it yourself. Not trying to be rude, I just think they want the secret to be a secret.

No. It just has to be a multiple of 10 against any given dealer. 5 wins against Raven, 6 against Marie, then 5 against Raven and 4 against Kosmo mean's one 10 for Raven.

Fun fact, for future reference;
Though the easter-egg is "one-time", try marking the save file as read-only once you have one. It removes this restriction. :wink:
I've given up on using the Cheat Engine for this game. Chasing down roulette variables is too much work. Save file shenaniganry is much easier!

Right-click, choose properties ;)
Don't change anything actually in the file--it'll almost certainly just reset your game, since that's the default behaviour for corrupted save files.
(You can also make a copy of the save file when you like your score and stuff, then overwrite the regular save with it whenever you want)
