I'm a little confused about the entire process. I downloaded the game, and novelty, but I can't seem to find the game in novelty and when I try to open the game directly, it asks what to open it with and doesn't show novelty in the list. Am I missing something here?

You don't need to download Novelty at all, it's just the creation program (the only thing Novelty would open that way are novelty project files, which is not how I publish the demo versions).

The game itself is a .exe file that should just run normally like any other standalone application, without needing to be opened in any particular program. Are you on Windows or something else?

I won't ruin anything, but you can beat the bandit at level 1. It's brains over brawn. Explore the options and you'll see what I mean!

I still am excited for a future update. But I do know making a visual novel is not as simple as it looks.
