Searching for a Gmod map!
I remember this old map, and I don't remember where I got it, just that I could load it up in Garry's Mod. It was two macro dragons facing each other with a platform between them, both anthro, male and naked. You could climb into either of their mouths and be swallowed down to their stomachs, and even continue into their bowels if you wanted to. But I can't find it now. Anyone know what map I'm talking about and where to find it? I =think= I got it on FA before.

How did you get this to work? I dropped it into my maps folder, but when the map finishes loading, my Gmod crashes.

It's really a team fortress 2 surf map. If you can't get it working on Gmod, try TF2.

I know that this thread is pretty much dead and buried, but can someone repost the link? The current download link isn't working.

Ooo... How's about some screenshots to advertise it to new visitors?

Re: Searching for a Gmod map!
I would not be an ideal candidate for that at all, since half the textures won't load in on my computer xD

Re: Searching for a Gmod map!
Has anyone managed to revive this map? or knows the methods of doing so? I figure it wouldn't be terribly hard to replace, or simply add some more working space over the surf areas for Gmod use, but I'm not familiar with the method.

If anyone's got a decent knowledge on the Hammer editor, fixing it would be somewhat easy. The biggest issue would be the the scalies' outer texture.

I might know why you are having problem with the textures.
You don't have Team fortress 2 installed.
The map uses a lot of assets from Team fortress 2, so missing textures and error models might be commonplace.

Re: Searching for a Gmod map!
Good news everyone!
Or at least, everyone that didn't know this (originally including me).
The map does "work", but it seems there's some particular conditions that may or may not make it more likely.
First, as everyone before has said. Make sure Team fortress 2 is installed and mounted (I'd advise playing it once if you just installed it, just to make sure all the files settle right. Used to be an issue for Gmod that I recall having and I now do this with all the games I mount out of habit)
Second, I've found that having "mat_specular" set to 0 seems to affect my experience of the map slightly, this may vary, but if you want to give it a shot, hunt down your autoexec file for Gmod and write "mat_specular 0" without quotations via the good ol' notepad application, or Notepad++ if you have it. This generally solves some awkward shiny reflection issues for random maps in the game anyways.
Lastly, a little precaution, the map is definitely not optimized in any way, and there are a flood of missing texture errors even with the games installed, however I haven't been able to actually find any visible errors, just lots of repeated water textures that may prove difficult to look at from the platform.
Might be fun to make a project out of learning how to clean this map up a bit now that I know I can run it. For anyone that isn't having any luck getting it to work, I'll try to help out.

IMO the first thing to do would be to add background sounds to when you're in the mouth or the belly of one of the dragons. There are lots of tutorials on how to add ambient sounds with Hammer, so it shouldn't be very difficult.

If I do take that on, certainly could use some more sounds, and the intestinal tract could do without the crazy driving force, especially since it's broken.
