It's within the context menu in-between the "Eat" and "Stomach" options.

Remember that you can also drag and drop the options to an available hotkey button space dotted around the game window borders.

oh so thats what the dropdown box was. Kind of wish it was.

Something you might see about changing: I get hungry, I have used the stretch stomach spell, and eat something as an adventurer, I digest said rather decent sized meal, and it says I'm still hungry. Pretty sure eating a full, live creature is at least a bit better than eating a corpse. Any chance you might be able to go into the code and make eating something increase your food so you don't starve while on a diet of squirming meals? I just find it weird that, after a bat or two, a snake, and a kiwi, I'm still hungry. I don't think it's normal xP

Can people from the forum submit enemies/ text or is this a personal project? This game seems very "mod friendly" and could use variety.

Found another bug this one causes a pet to stop showing up in the commandable pets list.

the pet still remains friendly however and will continue obeying the orders you gave it.

Not sure how this one happened.

"Mod friendly" is relative. If I recall correctly, POWDER is written in C++, unless the content you want to change/add is already in some kind of content/config file, in order to change it, you need to recompile the source. Alteration of game mechanics definitely requires source alteration, I don't know where monster addition lies on that scale.

Edit: I just took a peek at the download. It's just the executable, everything is compiled.

Last update was over half a year ago? Not sure if that means this is dead or if it means an update's just over the horizon, looking at the update history of this game :)

I've no idea but I still play it to this day and regularly think about how it'd go if the game's mod was tossed up on something like gitbucket for additions (However testing things and actually getting it to run might be an issue as it only compiles with SDL 1.2 as per blackrock's insightful bits in the technical information part in the first post)

It's still my top fave game to play all in all and I'm glad blackrock made it/took the time and stress to bring it this far as I can't imagine debugging something this old would be easy.

I just was looking through my folders and saw this game and started getting back into it and I'm kind of sad that the last update was so long ago because I feel like it's dead and I was hoping there was another update.

What's your release schedule like? I try to work on this whenever I have time. Which is never. Releases will be sporadic, and there may be mutli-month long periods where I am just dead.


Well, they did say that, so.. Multimonth dead periods are expected.

Bumping this just so that people can find it easier, as more than a handful of the folks that have asked what I've been playing can't seem to find it as easily once it's been buried off of page one

How do I become a predator as the adventurer? I see this was added but I can't figure out how to enable it.

Ah, thank you! This would be really useful to be in the guide that comes with the game, but it seems it's on an indefinite hiatus or just dead in the water for now.
