So, uh, I may or may not have put an extensive amount of time into editing an edit. Some of you might remember Nobody321's Pokemon endo edits from a while back; well, I was originally attempting to fix a few things, especially in regards to the AI using vore moves, but ended up adding on some other edits over time purely because "I could" and decided I may as well release it. Here is an overview of what's new/changed:
The Stats: Mewtwo now has a bit more health(+100), defense(+10), and hits a lot harder (+30 Attack). These changes are explained in the next section, but this is intended to make him something closer to a mini-boss of sorts, but still far from being a straight-up boss character.
The AI: This version includes a patch from someone named AnotherOrochi. Mewtwo is very likely to counter your attacks, grab you with normal throws when close, use his special meter for EX and super moves, and yes, is even likely to eat you (either as an opponent or as a partner) depending on how low your health is. Coupled with his increased stats, let's say that now he's actually worthy of the title of a "legendary pokemon". If you're not particularly good at MUGEN, I'll keep it real with you: he's gonna kick your ass...but if you're lucky, he just might decide to "spare you" instead~ <3
The Vore: This is where most of his skillset was reworked. For starters, the range of the attempt is increased by quite a bit - but can still only hit grounded opponents - and can hit more than one opponent. Depending on which animation he's in, he'll either heal himself or his opponent/ally and the ability to do so is based on the prey's power meter. Most importantly, he can no longer belly lock at any health, only when prey is at 100 or lower health -- the AI will also adhere to this new rule, and will do so instantly when capturing someone at this health range. To organize what these changes mean just a little bit, there are two things to note about this new system regarding Mewtwo as an AI and whomever he eats respectively.
---The Predator, Mewtwo: Mewtwo can only heal if either the consumed opponent or partner has energy (the power meter) to siphon from. The healing itself is relatively low but can still be potent if eaten with a full power bar. As mentioned, he's more likely to eat you if you're at low health, and likewise, is likely to keep you in for a longer time when this is the case, even if he can no longer heal off of his prey. Since the timer freezes while all of this is happening, your only escape is through him...or a total "not-failsafe" timer I put in in case things go wrong.
---The Prey, (Insert fighter here): Mewtwo generally has control over your struggling, but on occasion, he may decide to allow you to take control and heal yourself if he happens to feel generous. The healing this provides for prey is fairly potent and requires no energy so be sure to thank your resident legendary for this act of mercy! For partners being healed, once he has you in his belly, he won't let you out until you struggle after being healed back to a high amount of health, or until a certain amount of time passes, regardless of how much health you have at the time. This can make him a fairly useful partner to have if you take damage often...but just hope that he doesn't already have someone else in his belly when you need it.
Misc.: Mewtwo still has many of his old commands, and the vore rework obviously applies to any players that want to play as Mewtwo themselves, but should still play the same besides the changed stats/functions. Just note that he now has a teammate only grab that can be done through the command (C+Y), and now releases his prey with the vore input (C+Z) in the interest of making sure the CPU doesn't accidentally input it themselves somehow.
That should be everything, made sure to test him myself and make sure nothing went wrong, but...knowing me, I probably missed something anyway. Ah well, just be sure to yell at me if something does happen and I'll try my best to get off my lazy butt and fix it...whenever that'll be uwu. I'd also prefer not to take any real credit for this either, so other than the AnotherOrochi AI patch, credit goes to the same people behind the initial version. Either way, have fun!
