jasamprn, thank you! There's no real problems. I just got a new job and it needs attention. Even at busy days I'm adding at least a couple of hot phrases to TH. I never stop the development, but going slowly at the moment. Starting to think it's going to end with me uploading another beta-prealpha-demo-crazy-buggy-kinda-build.

SnackPup, hiya. New job ate all my time. I didn't work on the bot, didn't write, friends forgot how I look. Now it seems to calm down a little. I'm digging into the build, fixing something, breaking something, but nothing to show for now.

I tried to open up the game, but it seems to have some difficulties, for both versions.

Unusual I use Chrome to but I've never experienced this, the only thing I can think of is uninstalling chrome and then reinstalling it again, or try a different browser, FYI Internet Explorer doesn't work with the game

vayne358, Yes unfortunately v1.30 is riddled with bugs at the moment, he is currently gutting the entire system for the next version, but v1.20 has a lot less bugs, and the differences between the two versions are minor, v1.30 was more experimental

How does someone go about making something like this? I'd love to put up a few characters myself. Does anyone know what program (program knowledge) I'd need?

This isn't a HTML project, it was made in Twine 1.4.2, which uses a different language, if you want to dig into it and edited that is what you really need to use

Hello, people!
I doubt anyone is still waiting for something with this project. But... you know it's actually not dead. Honestly I never stopped working on it. Sometimes horribly slow, but I keep thinking on it. So here's a little so-called progress report. The lat two years I had some health troubles as well as crunches at work, had almost no free time and attention resource. That slowed the developement. Also the project had it's own troubles. I wanted to make procedural generation system flexible and generalized, but ran into a dead end when it became too generalized. I ended up with TH talking the pure nonsence, not seing difference between the prey's action and prey's fate. Like "Hey you! End up in my belleh right now!". So the system needed another rework, to stay flexible, but grow smarter. I think now I found a way, and going to it little by little.
I doubt there will be a complete new version of TH anytime soon, but I'm looking forward to upload some prototypes to show how the new system can tease you with some hot phrases. By this moment nothing is pre-written, everything is procedurally generated. Some patterns contain up to 10 segments, so variability should be impressive. And now I'm struggling to make that variablility also smart and smooth. The project grown up to 9 twine files and it worth the result.
Also I have a dream to make predators custom. I'd love it if anyone could create their own pred for TH to play as. Toriel? Judy Hopps? Some celebrity? Your OC? Just set the params and go. So I researched the concept with external pred files. But twine 1.42 is awful at working with external files as well as twine 2. Even without the option with separated files, still looking forward for custom preds with resource of pure twine.
So, after 2,5 years of work and rework here it is, still separated parts, still promising, but nothing to show... for now. Still poking around with bits of speech and rp. And I'm still loyal to the project. It's the most interesting thing I made in my life.
I really want to show some fun concepts anytime soon. I hope that will work out.
