Oh crap, forgot to update here as well. Lemme just copypaste this over...

This is gonna be kind of hard, but... well, I shouldn't put it off longer than necessary. When I said I'm still working on the game, what I've actually been doing is... sketch two things and stare at RPG Maker every so often trying to get myself to work. So... I wasn't really being honest, and I'm sorry for that.

Pelema Resort was intended to be a creative vent for when the mood to do weird size stuff struck me. It worked for a few months, sure, but... I haven't had the drive to keep working on the game for over three months now. I think that's kind of telling. I think that, by limiting myself to a number of characters, even if it was a large amount, I already defeated the purpose of making the game for myself. It got to the point where I felt like I had to continue working on the game for you guys, rather than as it was originally intended, for myself. In short, I didn't have fun working on new content, and... well, the drought kind of showed that, even though I tried to hold out hope that the mood would come back to me eventually. That's not going to be happening, though.

Furthermore, since I released 0.6 and went on such a long hiatus, my art has evolved and changed in style, so much so that I would have to redo all the artwork I've already made just to maintain consistency. I probably don't HAVE to, but I'm kind of a perfectionist that way.

So what's all this mean? Is Pelema Resort dead? Short answer... kind of.

Long answer, not really. While I'll be discontinuing this iteration of the game, I'm gonna be going back to the drawing board to come up with a new concept using the same setting. I'm going to turn this back around to what it was originally intended to be; a creative sandbox of size art and writing for me that I can share with all of you.

I'm sorry for leading all of you on for three months, and I can only hope whatever new project I come up with will be worthwhile.
