A quick patch for a couple things I managed to miss during testing.

28G:
Fixed a bug where the merfolk would resurrect after a battle.
Fixed an issue where the merfolk clothing discards didn't appear.

So in Create Pure Tactical, if you go through too many races or pick Taurus than this happens:

It only seems to be a problem in so far as the previews for the races are stuck with the Taurus and the enemy you had at the time of selecting Taurus. Creating the World will use the correct 2 races, with whatever number and level you set for them.

Yep, put it up and within like 20 minutes someone told me that their armies were basically unkillable, you could win a battle against them and they'd still be there, all still alive. That's a serious enough thing I decided to go ahead and fix it.

Ah, thank you for letting me know, here's an updated patch that fixes that.

28H:
Fixed the labels for village names and Army names on the recruit screen so that they can get a lot more text in before truncating it.
Fixed an exception during random character generation that could be easily triggered in the create tactical screen (and was probably an issue during the game as well)

HOT IDEA! Pure gendered units(male or female)... if they have one of the assimilate traits, and they eat enough of the opposite gender or herms(like, maybe 100, or some large number like that), THEY become herms themselves! And maybe Infinite Assimilate could be a stronger version, like also getting the gender traits of a herm(of their own race), while keeping their own(the gender traits that they already had)?

So with this whole corona virus stuff going on I had some extra time on my hands so I've been doing a little play testing. Mainly I wanted to see how the races/empires stood up as far as game balance was concerned. I had noticed the same races always wiping the map during strategic games so I was curious.

First up the method. I used tactical and pitted each race against one another in a 10 Vs 10. Each team was capable of Vore, was level 1, had a leader, and had an even split of ranged/melee. First match was with Race X as the attacker and Race Y as defender to account for start bias. The first race to win 2 times was the winner and had their surviving pawns counted for their two wins. To determine who was attacker/defender in round 3 was decided by which ever team won with the fewest surviving pawns. An example would be that Race X had 2 surviving pawns as Attacker, Race Y had 4 surviving pawns as Attacker so round three would have Race X as the Attacker. After all was said and done it was pretty clear which races were at the top and which were on the bottom. Keep in mind this was all done at level 1 and the results may vary at higher levels. Also keep in mind this is strictly AI Vs AI. Any of these races in the hands of the player can be played more effectively.

*# denotes how many surviving pawns they had after their 2 wins.

S tier
Imps- Astral Call is so good at least at early levels that it almost breaks the game. It means they always have a pawn advantage of 1-3.

A Tier- This group dominates most other races. They're all durable and capable of wrecking enemies before the enemy can even touch them. Even when they lose it's by a small margin.
Equines
Alraune
Crypter

B Tier-All of these do well mostly due to their strong abilities.
Panthers
Slimes
Cats
Lizards
Bees

C Tier- Middle of the road races. Great against some, not so great against others.
Sergal
Harpies
Bats
Lamia
Crux
Foxes
Wolves
Taurus

D Tier- These races will struggle to gain a foot hold on your map.
Dogs
Merfolk
Bunnies
Driders
Kangaroos

F Tier- Trash tier. Can't really compete with any of the other races except one another. Humans may have an advantage as they level since they get greater control over stat distribution. Other wise you may need to buff them in race settings to make them competitive.
Scylla
Humans

Anyways I figured I'd post this because why not. If some one wants to edit a race to make them stronger or another to make them weaker it's a good starting point.

Also I have an obscure request. Would it be possible to add Bone remains to CV digestion at some point in the future? If not no big deal I was just curious.

Ooh, das good to know and, I agree a good baseline for editing races. I did buff the Cats, Foxes, Dogs and Bunnies on mine but basically made them all prey then gave Dragons lightning speed :3 The bone remains on CV digestion sounds hot too.

Man I really love the customization level in this game.

See for me it's always the Crypters, Imps, Equines and Panthers that always seem to do the best. I rarely get to even fight a lot of the races because those 4 always take them out before I can get to them -_-;

Yeah that was the idea anyways. I know that I have to edit races to level the playing field. I play the Humans and they struggle a lot early game lol. Once you start to snow ball they're fine but it takes a while to get there.

I've... yet to actually finish a strategy game to get an idea. I like BIG LONG games(when playing civ, I have it on marathon length), and with updates adding stuff, even whole races that require me to change my map...

So I can't really say how all the races stood up against each other before(I like to think I've balanced the gender traits and gender ratio nicely, but even that hasn't had enough testing... yet).

Nice chart though. I love the tier list(even more that my slimes are at least B rank, I was worried the whole easier to vore bit of their traits would be a hindrance), and yeah, Astral call is pretty godly for a non cheat trait. XD

It happened again! This might just because of my PC running low on memory(on account of me trying to browse steam AND chrome WHILE still having Vore War play in the background. It can handle the new larger armies no prob... if it's ALL it's handling. XD ).

Low RAM usage most likely. (Maybe, i'm not sure) Though, this NEVER occurred to me, since i don't usually open that many applications in the background.

Well, the traits are assigned based on the unit's race, so that would get into kind of a mess. I feel like that's one of those things that might be best left to individuals to do, rather than putting an option related to a single trait.

Interesting. I've done some balance experiments before, but haven't done one in a while. I know that the balance is significantly different between level 1 and level 10-15, which is part of the difficulty with trying to balance. That's also part of the reason why the race editor exists now, is people can adjust things to suit their play styles.

I forget if they're separated from scat sprites or not, but I will take a look at it.

So it looks like this is windows's error, when all of your current memory is allocated, and your swap file is also completely completely full. (Basically too much memory used between all current running applications)

Hypothetically speaking, in the same line as what was done with the bats being broken into the bat folk and feral bats, what would the chances/interest be in splitting the frogs into frogfolk (maybe similar to how Modeseven makes ‘em?) and the current feral frogs?

Don’t mind me too much, I’m very sleepy

NitroTitan FrogGirls? Hmmmm... Nothing against his froggies. But I'd prefer a cuter design. Like the feral frogs we got.

A bit of a a delayed reaction, but thanks for adding the Cursed Mark idea! I've been putting it on some rare monster spawns and seeing what happens from there!
(For example, putting it on male gryphons then setting them to >95% female or somesuch)

Erm... The Slime Queen's balls are missing. XD
Until she cock vores enough, but then they're too low.
She's currently massive, but size shouldn't inflict sprite bugginess.

Also, a scroll bar for the unit info on the army screen.

List of ideas for you
1. Rebirth trait gives 25% chances to turn a enemy into a allie with 50% health (this for people who don't have a medic unit right of the bat to heal surrender units and are tired of losing them after 1-2 rounds after surrendering)
2. Trait market(kinda like the mercenary market) where you can buy traits for units you could add requirements like level, kills, digestion (this is for people who want to legit earn traits including cheat ones through work without adding them)
3. Add a button for symmetrical breast growth (kinda like how you have a show scat, hide genitals) watching one boob grow enormous while the other stays small kinda creeps me out although I love breasts vore
4. A leader trait/second in command would be nice it gives a 50% boost from the leader (in other words if the leader gives 100 points of stats to its army then the army with second in command would give 50 points to its army and to prevent overkill it does not stack with other leaders)
6. Give each area it's own capacity for example breasts capacity, stomach capacity, anal capacity, cock capacity and the rest of them, voracity controls chance but the individual capacity controls how much and how fast (if I had a actual computer and the program you used I'd just copy and past stomach capacity and change the name and link it to that individual vore type the correspond to)
7. More character customizing I'd love to use some of the other races hair and outfits on my character(s)
8. If I had the ability to draw I'd add in a backside to the sprites and a simple bend over anal vore animation
9. This one is just personal but definitely would add my oc as a mercenary I'd give my white hair (probably use one of the panther long hairs)10 tailed futa kitty a sexy dress (from one of the other races) her traits would be strong gullet, biter, lightning speed (I'd also give her breasts vore animation using the fairy breasts and resizing it)
I don't expect any of this to be done so don't worry about saying
you can't or won't it's mostly just to give ideas and even copy and paste old things that are already done changing some names to add some variety

Perhaps there should be a setting to make it so that monster spawns are based on how many towns there are or map size.

This only applies to fairies and there's already an option for this.
