Fromage Vore Text Game

I'm getting started with Quest, and I will do what I can to capture the spirit of Fromage.

Once I'm comfortable, I will release a demo-like version of the game, and I will do what I can to ensure that everyone enjoys the final product.

• I made it so the Frog now actually digests you if you remain in her belly for a whole minute. You can escape, however.

• I have uploaded the game to the Quest Website. You may access the game here. Please note that it's not complete, yet. However, I do plan to make it more complete-feeling. At the moment, this is mainly for feedback purposes.

• I am almost done working on the Frog.
• I've added some realism to the game (Your predator's stomach is dark, and if you shrink yourself, it's basically impossible to get out of your predator)
• You can lock the door to your bedroom (So to add to the feeling of not having any other choice, but to get eaten)

I am getting accustomed to Quest, and, as a result, I am able to start implementing the basic mechanics. I will release my first demo of the game as soon as I get 3 predators done. In the meantime, please let me know which predators you want to see in the demo. I am already working on the Frog.

My apologies for taking time to get back to this thread. My schedule is basically all over the place. However, I am going to try the best I can to get a good start. So far, I have a little bit of interaction with one of the predators. I will reveal which one very shortly.

Just as a little heads up: I will be adding some realism in the game, if people want me to. For example, the predator's belly can seal you in, forcing you to fight your way out, for instance.

For the time being, it will be digestion only. However, as I get better with making the game, I will implement non fatal into the game.

If you're going to postpone it, do remember to make code for those parts open enough to actually allow for hooking in new code for endo. Would hate for you to code yourself into a corner where it's impossible to do it once you can't really redo things anymore without starting entirely from scratch.

True. I am not postponing production - I worked a little bit on it, last night. However, please rest assured that I am going to test every single scenario before releasing. That way, I will be able to fix any glitches. (For example, troubleshooting glitches involving variables, and suchlike.)

While I am doing work on the game (hopefully, I can get a version of it released by Christmas), I will greatly appreciate it if you guys can tell me what predators you want to see in the first demo.

If you need some ideas for predators you can look to the real world for examples, Wolves and house cats are two that I like to use in scenarios. You could also look to natural prey creatures and subvert that dichotomy by making them the predator, my favorite of these are rabbits and deer. It's your game so just put what you think fits best, most people one this website will be pleased with the game simply existing in a functional state.

Well, you can't really have anything Fromage based without the classic Asimofu Slugs. But yes I would like to see some preds closer to or even under the player characters size as well

Just a little heads up: There's going to be a delay in the game's production. Something unfortunate happened from within my immediate family. I will do my best, however, once things are a bit better. My apologies for the delay.

Well, technically, this will be a Fromage 2, just in a different format. Instead of a platformer, it's going to be a Text Game.

As a curiosity, I am wondering if I should implement a gender-based system. It's a brainstorm. I shall elaborate a bit, on how it will work.

For example, if a Frog was to chase a boy, it could launch its tongue more often, for instance, than if it was to chase a girl. Or, if a boy were to land on a Slug's head, it could (somehow) get confused as to what landed on it, etc.

At the moment, I am still trying to get a decent version of the game made before distribution, so I would greatly appreciate feedback on what you would like to see in the initial demo so that I can focus on that.
