Really good game. The main character is pretty cute too.

So it seems my problem was I made the mistake of Downloading all 3, Windows, Mac, and Linux at the same time in a Zipped folder, And trying to uncompress 3 different gigabyte Zips was giving it an Aneurysm.

Quick bug report. When eating the first cowgirl and the following rancher, I chose to not eat the guard and then denied eating the other cows and after that ends the image of the guard and the main character remain frozen on the screen but I'm still able to move around freely. Talking with others does not remove it either completely. Only images which directly replace those on screen remove them. As such the guard from the rancher seen isn't removable as she is in the middle there. I can get the main characters image however to remove since she is always in the same spot usually on screen.

I'm glad you were able to extract the game in the end, but this makes me wonder if more and more people are going to have trouble extracting and playing the game as the file size increases due to the increasing number of images, or if this was just a one-time-fluke because of the common files from all three OS versions. I guess I can always have the images in smaller separate downloads if the former ever becomes the case.

Thanks for finding this bug, it looks like I forgot to add the Erase Picture commands for that branch. I've made the patch in my development version which will roll out along with the next version (whenever that will be), but in the meantime you can use the Game Settings item in the player's inventory to access the debug menu and erase any lingering images on the screen.

I think that's a kinda funny situation. It'd rude to take away player choice and make the player character decide to eat the guard too, but how long did it take for this one to be found?

It was no issue removing, just thought I should bring it to your attention is all :).

I'm surprised I didn't find it sooner with how I play lol. I like to play through all possible scenarios and paths one can take.

Another quick question for you GooInABox, the waitress, is she suppose to say, ""Princess #4", my TITS!" when choosing to knock out the merc by poisoning the sake? Or is that just a placeholder until whatever named princess is decided upon? It might be intentional granted, I recall the guard saying something along the lines of having eaten one of the princesses a few princesses back.

The "Princess #4" comment is intentional, as the waitress is likely repeating something that the royal mercenary said, probably something along the lines of "I've eaten more than a few Princesses when I was an official Royal Guard, and you my good lady will have the honors of being Princess #4!". The player unfortunately doesn't arrive until after the scuffle happens and misses how the waitress was able to turn the tables.

Given that the raw original pictures for that scene have a creation date of October 2018 (which is also around the same time which I started working on the game, which makes sense as Sasha was one of the first characters I added in Chapter 1), the bug has probably been in the game for two years. Wow.

To be honest, I couldn't list them all out even if I tried. I downloaded a mod pack way-back-when that contained a variety of stuff. Sadly, I don't have the link nor the original pack anymore and I think some of the mods included might have been pirated, but I'll give you the links for some of the clothing mods I've downloaded since then:

Starlene has several clothing mods along with other things, you can find the download links on their website. Sadly, they've haven't uploaded anything in over a year so they're probably no longer in the modding scene.

Saint has a public download folder in their Patreon that has some stuff. Not all of it is clothing and most of it is based on some weird clown-punk theme, but I won't say no to assets being given away for free by the owner.

Joan6694 has a couple of clothing mods on their website, but their main specialty is plugins which have opened a world of opportunities for me including animation. They also have a tutorial for importing props into StudioNEO, but I don't think it can be easily applied to clothing even if I knew how to tailor one in 3D.

Beyond the three above, Google (and patience) is your friend. However, if you search around enough you'll probably hear tell-tale of something called "The Pastebin". The Pastebin is a link that leads to the largest collection of honey select outfits that I know about, and there is a link to it on the Honey Select reddit. However, I should advise that at least some of the mods within are pirated which is why I didn't list this option first. The only reason why I'm listing it at all is because the Pastebin probably contains a bunch of mods that don't exist anywhere else, especially after Hongfire (the Loverslab equivalent for Honey Select) went *poof* along with all the mods within.

As always with downloading anything on the internet where the filename is sexy.zip, be cautious and take precautions as you see fit to protect your computer.

Played through Amalgamation, it's a solid little title, given how short it is, you crammed a lot of content in there. I'd definitely like to see more scenes with Manda and Kari which seem to be planned. Judging from the spoiler on page one anyways. ^^

I don't know too much about the game shown in that video, but using my own limited animation experience, that one animation is probably somewhere in the range of 5 to 30MB for its 5-ish unlooped seconds, depending on the final resolution quality.

I'm more intrigued with how long it must have taken the animator to create that animation. If I tried to recreate that particular scene in Honey Select, it would take me at least 5 hours, if not far more to make the motions look smooth and to avoid fingers and other body parts clipping through each other. (Before anyone asks about my pole dance animation in my game, I didn't create that animation from scratch which is why it looks so decent compared to my Korra digestion animation in my gallery which is a little more basic with stiffer moments.)

A little slow. I've been busy with IRL projects for most of the year, but I've caught a break with the holiday season. However, I'm still living with family and have to manage my time with them while keeping this game under wraps for obvious reasons.
I'm a little more active in the Discord (link available in the main post) and have posted progress updates there, but I expect it may be at least another month or more before I can get the next update out.

Well, here we are. It’s been a full year since I’ve made the game public here (or at least tried to, that was certainly a rough launch day), and it’s been far longer since I opened up RPG Maker and first created the cave that the main character wakes up in. I wish I had something more than this post to celebrate the one-year anniversary. Heck, last February I imagined I would be much further along with the game’s development than I am now, but then again, this last year hasn’t followed most of our predictions of how our lives would play out.

To put any anxious thoughts at ease; no, this isn’t a farewell post. I’m still developing the game at my admittedly slow pace. I recently posted my expected roadmap for updates in both the main post of this thread and the community discord, and the next update is still being, well, updated. This will probably be the biggest update yet since launch (which isn’t saying much due to the low sample size), and I do hope that I won’t disappoint too many players with what I have brewing. With any luck, I’ll be able to remove the ‘Beta’ tag from the title post and have chapter 1 wrapped under a bow and move the plot along onto tastier pastures.

For those outside of the Discord, I’ll explain the next update in a little more detail here: currently, the blue house in the top right of the town of Petra is a little empty, and I intend to fill it with a rather self-indulgent occupant and her maid, both of whom the player will have options to interact with like most other NPCs to either eat or be eaten by them. Along with this update will be various bug fixes (along with new bugs, no doubt), a couple of updated RPG pixel sprites for a few NPCs, and new sound effects to make the digestions a little less quiet.

I want to thank everyone who has taken an interest in my game, who has given their reviews and have submitted feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and even some who have contributed to the game in their own way. Without your support, I might have given up on this game and story long ago. Here's to many more years of (hopefully more productive) development that will see the Amalgamation on their path to defeat the Coven or die trying.
