WPBcrazy, For characters to show up, the folder name, def file and select.def entry must all be the same. Rename the folder from "New Shinocchi" to "shinocchi" and make sure you have "shinocchi" in select.def. All of that is without the quotes.

You're welcome.
The most stable version is 1.0, and that's mainly what I use, but 1.1b has a few extra bells and whistles like zoom, transparency and whatnot. Not to mention it's not restricted to 256 colors.
