Gulp Quest MV - Update 0.1 is here! (18/02/23)

Glad to see Gulp Quest alive and well! I've forgotten most of it from last time I've played, currently stuck at the beginning with the slime girl, beginner quests, can't seem to give the expensive bottle of alchy to anyone and can't leave the village without being gulped, not that I mind but I do hope to see the rest of the game! Joined the discord but there does not appear to be a way to validate and get access to the rest of the discord!

What you have to do is buy a sleeping potion from the merchant. You need to collect coins from the nearby chests and help the old man bury the urn to get enough money. Once you buy the potion, you need to drug the wine with it and give it to the prison guard inside Master Garod’s place. He will pass out and you can free the woman who is inside the jail cell. Also on the upper level, there is a set of armor that you can steal during the night. This is your only chance to grab it without upsetting Master Garod. Lead the seductive woman out of the village and she will reunite with her cat girl friend, thus opening up the rest of the map. Alternatively, the woman will invite you inside a nearby house for sex. If you go with her, the scene will end with her eating you. Also, when you leave the village, you will randomly fight some enemies but remember to manually equip your sword in the menu as the game will crash if you try to attack unarmed. (This wasn’t an issue in the original release.)

When i open the game, it's just a black screen. Either it's loading the main menu really slowly... or it's just not working for some reason. It gives me no error, no music plays, just a blank, black screen.

Do i not have some RPGMaker thing?

That's weird. As it turns out, not everything is copying over from the .zip... now that i've got the main menu working, it's missing .pngs i think. It can't load hit1.png... am i doing something wrong? Do i have to extract, and then copy over?

Yeah. It's broken... i think i'll try just decrypting hit1.rpgmvp, and see if that works.

Edit: doesn't see the unencrypted .png either...

NinaMercer, Hi, sorry for taking a long time away from the forums. The Hit1.png issue will be fixed in the next release, it was never an issue for me, and I don't know what it caused the animation to not get extracted before, it seems to have been fixed now that I put a pair of leather gloves equipped on Tony right at the beginning (You'll still get the sword so remember to equip that to get better damage).

The version of the game I just mentioned is being worked on actively once again, I apologize for the lack of updates to everyone else who's looking forward to the next release.

As for those wanting to get in the server, remember that you need to read the rules up and down, the way you can join the rest of the channels is explained in it. Lots of people seem to not read the rules, and I won't accept people in who do not do so.

NinaMercer, As for this issue, it's been the first time I heard of it, I don't know how that happened and you're the first one to bring it up, so it's most likely that it was an issue with your download in specific.

- Beat the Slime girl night
- Get wine
- Purchase sleeping drug
- Drug the wine
- Give wine to guard on Christelle's cell


darkcorn, Which one of them all? If it's the game screen not loading then I don't know what to tell you sorry, if it's the Hit1.png missing just equip the sword and it'll be fixed.

As I'm a Helper in the Discord I can tell you this; the game is still being worked on.
Drakkions has a lot on his plate at the moment due to his work and studies, but hasn't forgotten about this nor has he been putting it off or aside.

That's all I can tell you as that's all I know.
