Hey there, after I ran into the same error as others, I did a quick check on the file in question, and I managed to track down three errors/typos in the script.

@RealZikik I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty to upload a fix for others who have trouble with the game.

To use this fix, simply unpack the archive in the game Folder (FeedingThem-1.1-pc, where the FeedingThem.exe is located, not the /game folder inside!) and let it override level2.rpy when asked.

I finally got around to working on this. I've added a third stage and a few things were fixed as well.

Choosing "I think it's hot" with your sister still breaks the game.

I made it hard on purpose. I had some trouble getting it myself, ha ha. Try to be nice to her and say stuff about the two of you being friends. That's the only advice I can give for now, but eventually, I'll probably put together a walkthrough.

There seriously needs to be a guide for the bestfriend

A series of 16 choices, any number of which might result in a no for an answer, with some choices being between 5 different answers, is way too much imo

i think i've tried every friend related combo that i could think of and a few asshat combos incase she was the type to like that but still get the big NO every time.

Friend section is definitely way too hard. You have around 3.5 choices per prompt and there are 16 prompts, meaning that you have about a 1/30,000,000 chance to get it right from random guesses. That's a lot even for a computer to do. This would be fine though if it was clear that your choice was having a positive effect, but you get almost no helpful feedback from the friend when you choose most of the options. Many prompts have you choose between several equally bad options, and it is not clear at all even after hearing the friends response to each which one is the best option. Others seem like they have an obvious choice only for your character to say something you didn't expect. All of this makes it nearly impossible to ever know with any certainty if one of your choices is correct, and because you are never certain about any option, the only choice you really have is to rule out the options you're pretty sure aren't right and make random guesses. It's kind of like taking a test on a subject you've never heard of before in your life over and over until you get a 100, except you never get to see the grade you get on any of your attempts or the questions you missed, you only get to see whether or not you got a 100.

For those struggling with the best friend stage:

Awesome! I'm so glad to see this new update! I have been craving more of this game!! The best friend level is extremely difficult and it took you guiding us through it for me to get that far, but I still fail to convince her to digest me every time D:

Just tried the recent update, got the BFF digested ending for my first try.
I don't need any guides, but I have a feeling that the patterns seems similar to the past stages.

Just a tiny bit of insight:

I probably won't get to the qol improvements until after I finish the main stages. There's just one more to go, by the way.

That is just fine! I cant wait to see the last level that you have cooked up, but I'm bummed to know its the last one. Thanks for the great game.

Loved this game, i saw great potential and really enjoyed it!

i was looking forward to seeing second stages for the sister and mom, maybe someone else can pick it up!

Back when I started writing for this, I was only planning to do the mother stage. Then after a while, I got the idea to do a sister and a best friend stage before I start coding. Those two I didn't really start writing until I began coding the mother stage. The fourth stage will be the last, but I'm also planning to add some side content in the future.

I find a game in the Images file for the game called WeirdGame. Was this an older version of the current game?

That was left in there by accident, but yes, it is from when this was an RPG Maker game.

I noticed that there are also nude models of certain characters for the sprites/images being used. Is there any way to trigger those?

A lot of them show up in certain prey scenes. Also, most pred scenes will have nude prey.

There are assets for a pirate. Is there any way to access her and feed her?
