There is more than one issue, and the XP32 skeleton cannot be installed either. It keeps showing that the plugins are not sorted because the group alternate start does not exist. But I have already installed this file, but it still shows the issue.

It was amended for 1170 some weeks ago. Main mod still isn't updated, but it works well enough with certain settings. XPMSE warnings in-game are known to appear. Ignore them.
Realising this is a different person.

The mod creators are not active here anymore and tend to answer questions like this on their discord, but to save you some time first make sure you've built the correct body in BodySlide and batch built all the morphs for it, then in the Devourment settings make sure the breast morph option is set to the correct slider from that BodySlide preset you built, finally for weight gain and loss related things you'll want to download the mod Winterweight which is made by someone from the Devourment team

Hey, I've got a bit of a situation here. After my character devours their prey, my character's belly expands, but the clothes don't really adjust to the new shape. It's like the clothes are just covering up the action and not going along with the transformation. I've loaded the models in BodySlide like the creator said, and I've also added DevourmentSE -3BAva2. How do I get the clothes to respond to these changes? Does anyone know? Or could someone tell me how to join the creator's Discord? Thanks a bunch! :-D

Technically if you know how to mod, go to the loverslab page and watch the tutorial over there from Forgetful Hatter.
If you have never been modding skyrim before, you'll need:

1. Skyrim: Special Edition, preferably the Steam version. Doesn't have to be Anniversary Edition, but can work with it.

2. I don't know if you need to, but you will probably have to downgrade the Steam version of skyrim from the current version to 1.5.97 because of some of the mods needed for Devourment and probably also Devourment itself. You do that by getting the Downgrade Patcher from Nexus or if it is no available for the current version of skyrim, you'll need to manually download the 1.5.97 version of Skyrim and replace the needed files in your Skyrim installation directory, which you can find through steam, if you haver never done that before. You can find videos on Youtube to do that.

3. You'll need a mod installation programm if you don't want to completely fry your normal installation of Skyrim SE, i recommend it because removing mods would become hell if you don't. I highly recommend Mod Organizer 2, while the programm from Nexus Mods works well enough fo surface level modding, it's been kinda complicated with load orders for the mods, so just install Mod Organizer 2.
Some mods will have to be installed manually, but usually it will say so if you have to.

4. You'll need to download all nessecary files for the mod, all dependencies and better yet, some optional stuff for crash prevention. While the official loverlab page has the mod listed with all it's requierments, which you will have to install more or less in order. For installation you can also use theis Mod list which SHOULD have everthing, with some extra stuff like the Mage Armor Skyript Fix, which is not listed on the original side, tho you probably don't need the skin mods. You'll find it by searching for "Devourment Base Install nexus mods".

5. You'll need to install all mods through the mod installation progamm (hopefully Mod Organizer 2). In MO2 everything that is lower on the list is overwriting everything above, so usually patches go to the bottom, and everything that needs certain patches needs to go below those. I also highly recommend to watch the installation guide that is shown on the loverslab page, made by Forgetful Hatter who shows how to install everthing in tutorial videos on youtube.

(6). If you want anything more, you can always install more community made mod addons for Devourment Refactor, like armor mod patches and additions for how certain things work. You can find them on loverslab or on this forum.

I've thought about making actual mod lists and more indepth guides in my free-time for Devourment Refactor, with how to properly install it with other related mods like other race mods or make changes to character meshes and textures, but i've been kinda meaning to go over to just making the game look like TES6 instead of installing these kinds of mods and step away from them and this stuff in general.

Firstly, you don't need to downgrade and haven't needed to for a while.
Visit this link to see the current version of the mod on Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... mods/77928
Next, from this page you can access the collection, or just use this link: https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecia ... ons/skgqz9

The mod manager you should use as a beginner is Vortex, Nexus' own mod manager. Mod Organiser 2 is if you are more experienced. Vortex allows you to download the collection in a pre-assembled manner. MO2 requires you to manually download the right version of everything. To know how to install a collection, this video should cover it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZenIeg ... nel=Gopher
But it should be intuitive enough anyway.

Extra addons can be found nicely organised on a channel in the discord server linked on the Nexus page. Here's a direct link to a google doc of outfit mods that fit Devourment: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

It's very simple now.

I'm trying to make Creme's conversions of the BD clothing mods work but I can't seem to make it happen, do you happen to have a step-by-step guide on how to apply those?

I tried for about 2-3 hours the other day to install this and I couldn't get it to work, none of the tutorials are up to date and nexus mods/vortex is really confusing. I have modded skyrim and other games before and know my way around a PC but this is very confusing and annoying to set up.

I followed the guide poster here (download the collection follow the instructions) but it just got stuck.

While downloading the collection there are a TON of different options to pick from and alternatives to install, do i just click next on all of them? which ones do i pick? I don't know and no one seems to want to tell me :( Do I need the "UIExtentions Huge List patch"? What about when it asks me about CBBE 3BA, it asks me a a ton of questions about meshes and stuff what do I need? Op and now it just stopped at 95%, no notifications in vortex, no popups, just "paused" at 95%, if i click to start again it just runs for 10 seconds nothing changes are we are back to paused. (its during XP32 and HDT-SMP thing, idek what either of them are they just download then it stops at 95%. I've "installed" them both now probably 10 times but nothing changes. It says "Mod installed" every time but then nothing changes.

it extra sucks because i paid for premium to be able to download fast lol.
