Did you try installing the collection on nexus? It should work for the current most up to date version on Steam and contain all the requirements for devourment to work. Remember to run Pandora and build your bodies with bodyslide. Also you should be launching the game with the included script extender. https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecia ... kgqz9/mods

If you want to use a different body other than the included cbbe 3ba I would wait to attempt that until after you've gotten devourment to working and are willing to spend the hours it is likely to take to add the proper sliders to all the outfits you want to use.

If none of this helps there is also an official discord. Unfortunately I don't have link to it to share, but I would highly recommend taking anymore troubleshooting questions there as the people there are know a lot about this mod (the lead developer runs the server last I checked although that was months ago.) I also don't know how often this page gets checked either. Hope this helps

Oh!! So with most of the installers, just go with whatever it defaults to. If it doesn't default to anything, look at what it says and just kinda go with your gut feeling on it. (some of them will ask if you have certain other mods or not, sochoose accordingly) I know that isn't the best advice, but it usually shouldn't matter too much. I think.

Anyways, I also had your problems with the collection. Someone in the comments section (or whatever Nexus calls it) said to just delete those mods completely from your vortex profile. (make sure to delete it AND the archive) Once you do that, just go to those mod pages and install them from there. That solution worked for me.

Lastly, you might have this issue once everything is said and done (because I had it) (though that might just because I didn't read) (dunno), but if the bellies aren't showing up properly, make sure you select the Build Morphs option in bodyslide (next to the Batch Build option) before compiling/building/whatever the bodies, or they will not work. Hope this helps, and good luck.

Heya,

Just wondering if anyone has an idea on what to do if there is no belly when devouring? I have installed everything and there are no noticeable issues with Vortex. I followed the video tutorial, but it seems like when I try to use bodyslide and adjust any sliders they actually dont effect the previewed body. Does anyone have a fix for this please?

when you build the bodies in bodyslide, didja tick the Build Morphs button next to batch build? is the XMPSE (or whatever it's called) skeleton mod properly installed? are all the dependencies properly installed?

Yeah I got that ticked and I double checked all the dependencies, including XMPSE, I made sure the SSE engine part 2 was installed manually, I got it all sorted. I have everything in bodyslide, but once again non of the sliders seem to show the previewed body to change accordingly.

The only thing I can say is off is the fact that my SPID isn't recognised whilst im in game.

okay, that's odd. if SPID ain't recognized, it's probably gonna be that. is it (and it's dependencies) properly installed? try giving it a manual reinstall (delete it fully then download it again) if it seems to be in order. i took a look at the SPID mod page and no one else seems to be having this issue. is your skyrim and SPID up to date?

also, did you use pandora to compile the XMPSE patch? it might be worth giving that another shot. (or not. im just firing into the dark here)

Yeap! when using the collection it gets stuck on the last couple of mods and i can't continue, i tried uninstalling skyrim and vortex and reinstalling, same problem.

I see people keep talking about official discord but i cant for the life of me seem to find an invite link to it LOL

Alright, I will try that tomorrow. I am still not sure how to get bodyslide to work, last time i tried opened it but nothing showed up in the drop down menus.

The Female Khajiit mod is no longer available for non-manual downloads, which fucks with Vortex something fierce, as it's no longer supported by CBBE, since they made a new one for it. That's probably a big problem with the issues people have. Is there any way to NOT use it?

Edit: Faster HDT-SMP seems to be defunct as well

@hysterical21 there's a bodyslide guide in the first post that might help. i think the video tutorial might also walk through bodyslide. i think it might start works ng if you're able to get XMPSE working and you compule it in pandora, though.

@Snorlaxkid what female khajiit mod? if its the textures one, i dont think you strictly need it, though it did work on my machine when i installed it a week ago. with the HDt-SDP, you should just be able to delete it fully from your mod install, then install it manually from the mod page to get it working.

Just recently installed the collection off of Nexus and everything works great with the latest AE version (1170 or something). In truth, I don't really use Devourment for the vore aspect but rather for the digestion system when it comes to regular food and consumables. In older versions (pre-AE) I had Winterweight & Weightmorphs; eating food would cause the belly morph, burps, and fill the digestion meter a little, and trigger weight gain over time (I assume this was devourment's system, not winterweight, but I could be wrong).

It appears in the AE version from the collection this no longer happens, and I just wanted to ask around and see if that's something I would need to toggle, or if it's just a functionality that hasn't been successfully ported over yet. If it's just not implemented for AE yet then patience is a virtue, but if it IS possible to get this working again, any sort of guidance would be appreciated

All features in older versions exist in the AE version. It is the exact same mod, just made compatible. The bar showing capacity and the belly morphing is handled by Devourment while the weight gain is handled by Winterweight. All features are functional and normal food still uses these systems. I'm not sure what parts aren't happening for you, but if the weight gain is imperceptible, try increasing the weight gain value of food in winterweight. If the belly morphing isn't working, make sure to build stuff in bodyslide. There are also other issues that can cause this and it's easier to find them explained on the discord faq.

Understood! sounds like something must be missing on my end then. I'll try tweaking the values in Winterweight and hopefully something gives. Might be related to another mod I have changing food objects, I enabled Survival mode for this playthrough and nothing seems to affect my hunger meter either.

Just knowing that it should be happening is a huge help, so thanks again!

I tried reinstalling some of the mods I had a bit of struggle with, but I realised that It is also not recognising Bug fixes SSE, I think this might be the reason as to why its not working if im not mistaken? Do you know what could be causing it to not be recognised? I've reinstalled it 3 times, I've installed the dependencies, yet I have no luck.

You have to download and install Bug Fixes SSE pt 2 manually. Check the mod page and follow the instructions, you can't just do it through Vortex or whatever mod manager you use. Also, if you haven't tried it yet, installing XPMSE manually might help as well. If you haven't joined the discord there's a troubleshooting guide on there that might be able to help with other issues that come up.
