Might I suggest using something like a google doc or Trello to keep track of bugs/planned features, so that people can more easily see what Mark is already aware of and what’s being worked on, instead of reading through the pages and pages of comments? I know from personal experience that that isn’t going to stop some people from just busting in to report a bug for 900th time, but it could alleviate at least some of the confusion.


I believe it is better to report a bug than not to. That being said I do get apprehensive about posting any I find because of the very reasons stated above. By posting a bug report I personally don't want it to come across as me complaining... which if some of you are doing that... some of y'all need to chill out. The dev isn't being paid... you aren't entitled to their time. Which is why I always take the stance of being a little play tester/helper where possible. Makes me feel good and like I'm a part of the development even if it just a little contribution of my time. I agree with having some method of keeping track of bugs though for sure. Maybe even a way to "vote" on a bug to show that you are also getting it so the dev can see what bugs are most common and affecting the most people. Just thought I would share my two cents.

Unfortunately there is zero overlap between the kind of people who post about a bug for the tenth time and the kind of people who check Trello.

Sorry, I was asleep. Yeah the mod I was talking about is "All Races Drop Skulls". I remember seeing someone in the comments say the skulls didn't show up correctly when ported to SE.

It was the Tera Elin 2 race ported to SE that I downloaded from a korean(?) site. If I could take a guess at the reason I did notice that the race uses a skeletonbeastfemale.nif and has the ActorProxyKhajiit keyword for Race Compatability.

I believe I am building to the right folder - the armor otherwise fits my bodyslide preset, and if I set the "Vore Belly" slider to 100% on the preset, it shows as such in game. But the armor won't morph with prey like the other armors I mentioned do.


If you check the folder for the armour does it have a .tri file along with the .nifs? Additionally if you open up a .nif for the armour in nifskope and check the strings does it point to the correct file path and .tri? I have had an issue twice now where a custom race's body points to two .tris or the incorrect file path, so perhaps the issue could somehow happen for armour too.

My issue from a few pages ago remains in the game with the latest patch(from the 24th) perk menu still doesn't come up, and my game freezes to the point where it's entirely unresposive and I need to shut it down with the task manager if I finish a digestion by using the wait menu. This bug seems to only occur with absorb/bones, scat/bones and feces defecate don't seem to cause this issue.
idk how helpful this is but here is a papyrus log eating a couple of wolves in the wilderness, devourment debugging is on, I digest with bones/scat and wait an hour, scat mesh is placed and the game is fine, i reload same save right after the wolves die in my character's stomach and try again and wait an hour with absorb on and the game siezes up once the stomach finishes shrinking.

EDIT: I fixed the perk menu not showing up as it turns out SSE engine fixes does the same job as DLL plugin loader and it breaks the menus if you have both

I found the bug in the second one. The drunken wench dialog only triggers inside of inns and taverns. Have you tried there?


most of my testing has been done at inns, specifically, the whiterun inn(bannered mare), the winterhold inn(frozen hearth), and the solitude inn(winking skeever), the other main place ive liked to test is the college of winterhold, however i havnt tested there nearly as much as the other places

Struggle damage no longer seems to be affecting the player for me on the last few versions. Not sure about NPCs, it's more difficult to notice.

I'm currently using the update that was released on the 23rd. Works well. Much better than previously. I was just wondering if anyone knew what is going on with my weight morphs?

Essentially I got max weight but no weight change for my character. I built morphs and I know that they should work because body proportions can be adjusted in Racemenu. Anyone know what is happening?

Do you have [male/female]body.tri in the same folder as your body.nifs? Also is this a custom race or a default race?

Apologies is this has been reported already.
Using the latest version; Game freezes when I finish digesting a prey and the belly attempts to return to normal. The type of prey seems irrelevant.

Also, occasionally getting a prompt to change weight values of prey when attempting to swallow them. I.E. the game asks if I went to increment/reduce prey weight by +/-100 or +/-10.

I am using a default Breton. The male/female body.tri are in the same folder as body.nifs.

The weight prompt is working as intended. The weight value you set determines the size of the NPC for things like the vore belly scaling, how much stomach capacity they take up and maybe more but I'm not a developer so I don't know. If you don't want the prompt to pop up as much then you can go to raceweights.json in the devourment plugins folder and set the weights for as many races and creatures as you can think of. You can probably find a list of race names on the creation kit wiki or something.

As for the crash I have no idea.

I don't really know what to suggest apart from something that worked for me before with a custom race. Can you download nifskope and check the strings on one of the body.nifs and see if there is only a file path to ONE .tri (and it's pointing to the correct one)? I have had it happen twice now where morphs weren't working because the .nif was pointing to two .tris and one of them was incorrect.
