Since Nagas have been pushed to the general public, it'd be nice if you could update the offline version as well since it's a bit behind. (Downloading the webpage for some reason causes the main paths to crash. Debug says something about calling up nonexistent party interactions I think?)

I'd like to catch all current bugs that I've yet to hunt down before I update the zip. You can always download the webpage to play offline.

Ah, I see. Yes, once I got the new achievements I tried another run with cheats enabled to search faster (I also screened out several species to make it easier to search) and found anacondas much easier.

Ok, so.. I'm gonna be completely honest here regarding the new Nagas. What little I've seen of them via the special map provided is great, but after clearing 90% of not one, not two, but three entire maps and not seeing hide nor hair of them, I think I an safely say that they are FAR too freaking rare. I'm not sure if this is because they are just getting edged out by other encounters or what, but it's insane that they can be native to so many biomes and just never appear most of the time. That and I feel that having each with a miniature army of upwards of 5 smaller creatures with them is a little overkill, especially for someone like me who normally runs around with around 3 or 4 teammates.
Kinda of a shame since it really seems like you put a lot of effort into this update, but it's basically impossible to see any of that from the player side because of how rare the new creature is.

That's a very fair critique. I've got more Naga breeds planned and figured keeping these three at home and the others out in the world would be prudent. If you're after Naga, there's a Naga focused link out there.

I do plan on spreading them out too with rattlers in canyons and vipers in caves. I focused mostly on the core experience because I was already six months into the update and figured it was in a good spot.

the games doing well and I like what it's been doing.
however I'm rather disappointed with the naga unbirth content...it's not really unbirth is it?...it's insertion at best

granted there could be more improvements later down the line but I am left with a bit of disappointment in it's current state

So, unbirth for other characters was always intended as nonfatal and only last for the single scene. Besides those limits, what else would you like to see?

Version 0.10.1.2 now gives the option for the world to slowly repopulate. It's been requested a ton, and I finally wasted a day fighting with the character spawning code to make it happen. Nonbunnies spawning in burrows wasn't exactly intended, but I'm calling it a feature, not a bug >.>

Maybe the option to map out caves we've already been through. I'm looking for that one thing that's "Deep within the caves" but I keep getting turned around by the lack of map and (admittedly a little obnoxious) high spawn rate of enemies in caves.

CommentingLurker, maybe someday! I currently like the difficulty of navigating the cave systems, but I have heard lots of complaints about it.

The cave generation system is very finicky vs the rest of the mapgen, so it is possible that what you're looking for never spawned, especially if you're on a map with very few mountains.

There are no mistakes, only happy little accidents, to quote a wiser man than I. It's always kinda neat when something that didn’t go quite according to plan actually turns out for the better. Now I’m wondering what else has sneaked into the game that way…

 Caught a minor oversight. I ran into færies and noticed the “Magical” status on them. No idea exactly what that means and it’s not defined in the game’s Wiki tab.
 Of all the things I’ve lost in life, I miss my mind the least. (I’m having a lot more fun without it!)

The wiki tab could use some updating in general, but I think I can tell you what Magical means. If they Fight someone they turn the target into a defenseless Tiny Shroom. If the target is hostile it might need to be low health or Wounded for the transformation to work. You can also turn your own party members into Shrooms, if you wish; just use the Fight command on them too. In either case, it's a good way to get around appetite size restrictions (for example, letting the Tiny færie herself eat a target otherwise much too big for her). Engage in coitus to reverse the transformation. Be aware that some specific targets react very differently to the færie's spell...
