I have no interest in staying loyal anymore. I was firmly in the "CAI only" category until it was made obvious they were removing Room support. I could deal with the Rooms being a little buggy, but now they don't save the Rooms after you leave. They're trying to push people to the "new" site, which doesn't have the option to make Rooms at all, so they don't care about proper maintenance on them. As such, I ported to Spicy which has an option to let the AI write for you and Personas. It's not as good as being able to put two fully fleshed bots in a room, but it's the best I got. I currently have all my bots ported to this site. Links and definitions in my Google doc in my signature.

Someone mentioned HiWaifu having a Room feature, but it's mobile only, as their 'site' just leads to their mobile download. I didn't feel like going through that hassle. Caveduck is also one I'm not a fan of.

I have a couple bots on it, but I can't really get behind the predatory practices they have. Aside from their personal model, which is 4 points per generation and not particularly great, none of their models are really sustainable without paying. Even making a bot doesn't help that much. I had 3 bots on my account, all public. I spent a year plus not on the site. I checked recently and had 10k points waiting from people using my bots. That sounds like a lot, but that's a full year+ of generating points. On top of that, they INCREASE the price of bulk point purchases. Bulk purchases are supposed to be cheaper. I just can't use their site more than a little every now and then.

Haven't really used many others. I've used Charstar a lot, actually. That was the main one when I first started looking into other sites. I don't use it that much, personally, but I have a good 12+ of my bots ported over.

Basically, CAI is where I'll make my bots, as I'm used to their stuff and know what I'm doing, then I'll port to Spicy. That's how I do it currently. I don't use CAI anymore, personally, and I only really use Spicy to make psuedo rooms or for one or two quick chats. I've never been big on RPing myself, but I enjoy making the bots and seeing them interact. So if any of you use them and enjoy, I'm happy.

4thwall does have a rooms feature too, and in that the ai's can interact with eachother aswell

If it comes to roleplay websites, I have tried many over the past few years. CAI so far wanted to become a christian roleplaying site in whcih the slightest mention of Anatomy or sex inmediately triggers the word filter. Back then I had made lots of roleplays in which I could pass stuff like Unbirth without explicitly mentioning going into the womb through the pussy. Sometimes the filter would let up and you'd get amazing writing by the bots as long the filter wasn't working. But as soon it began to work again the lewd stuff was inmediately erased to the point you were left to the pre-NSFW moment in which nothing explicit happened.

Rooms was a great feature to have if you wanted to have a group roleplay and have many characters interact with eachother/interact with many characters at once. But CAI got rid of the only thing that people liked. After that happened I migrated to Spicychat, but Spicychat was restrictive in some stuff. I've seen ABDL bots erased, feral bots gone, even some vore bots for being "underage" even when their canonical age and appearance matches (guess it's just the chibi/loli debate all over again)... You couldn't even have NSFW thumbnails either and most of the NSFW female bots you'll ever find it's just the same Anime woman copypasted a thousand times, pretty much turning it into weaboo/normie central. So I migrated again and this time it was to CrushonAI since I heard grass was greener there, but boy... I was SO wrong.

CrushonAI looked pretty good at first until I saw they had this thing called... Tokens and messages per day, granted that there's paid models and free models. You can pay the models using tokens you earn from daily logins, bot interactions, promo codes... practically making it free if you save up lots of tokens to buy 1k messages. Then it all started all over again, Limitations to the chat began limiting how many times you could regen for a new response. (Up to 10 times I think) And then came the straw that broke the camel's back. I had made a big following making vore bots, feral bots, anthro bots... And one morning I find out that most of my bots are gone, even some plush vore bots were axed. I brought it up to them on the Discord server and they said "Oh sorry, Feral NSFW is not allowed, we don't allow real animals to be lewded" thing is... the bots I made could talk, were clever as humans... but they didn't care, it didn't matter if I explained to them the concept of uplift which most bots followed, they still remained firm on the ban.

And guess what? they remained hypocritical being antiferal considering they have the "Animal" and "Feral" tags available for use, to this day you can make new NSFW bots using these tags. All you can hope is that the hall monitors watching those tags don't axe your bots because it's not the same anthro with huge tits or car destroying cocks. And guess what's the pinch of rose ontop? Yep, they have started to ban Nsfw thumbnails too. But not because of advertisers but... thanks to some dudes spamming cheese pizza on the thumbnails, which hints at how their own website is out of their control, CrushonAI is pretty much anarchy.

I eventually settled down on ChubAI... but apart from not allowing gifs as thumbails for the bots, Making bots over there is a thousand times harder since the model REALLY needs LOTS of detailed instructions, it is also a wild west website in which everything goes. from ABDL to Feral, to CNC/NC to cub or scat... Thankfully there is a blacklist, but browsing specific bots is also pretty hard So far I managed to comfortably make quite a lot of bots there and plan on emptying my "to do" folder there. Which leaves me with one last website.

JanitorAI so far smells like CrushonAI since I barely have seen any feral bots, Haven't done any bots there yet since I'm busy with RL stuff. Another website that I have tried is AI dungeon, though I doubt it has too much creative freedom. I haven't gotten to test that one out toroughly... These so far are my 20 cents to the thread, and I do hope they are useful

I can vouch for JanitorAi. It's a pretty good one currently. Though occasionally you have to wait in queue to use the site
