Re: Cara in Creekmaw - Episode 2
Gotta be honest i was expecting a new episode, but i dont mind one bit since i can really feel the quality and improvement in the episode now!
I really liked the side story with the twins, really help seeing another point of view in the story so far with some plot twist i wouldnt expect seeing...
SPOILER:
...and the new vore scene with Alexis also was very good! Especially the internals shot and scat with farts sequence were really well done for me!
I really Hope there will be more farts and burps contents, maybe even outside the vore scenes.
And Keep doing the good work. If this continue like this this game will be one of my favorite!

Hi Hi !
First of all, congratulations on improving Chapter 2. It's truly amazing! Especially the scene with Alex... My god, she really is my favorite character by far!
I have a quick question regarding a scene that I can't get. This is the first scene on page 9/11. I assume it's a scene with Nora, but no matter how hard I try to change my choices, nothing!
Thank you in advance and please continue your excellent work!

Re: Cara in Creekmaw - Episode 2: Enhanced
TL;DR: Super long gaps between player input windows, can be improved by adding more option opportunities
I love this game. amazing characters, great story, really well done imagery, and fantastic for "getting off".
That being said, I feel that a lot of this is too long. I ran through the "Twins Dilemma" side story, it took half an hour to run through when "skipping" all the dialogue. I didn't count how long it took to read all of it, but I know it took over 3 times as long.
This isn't inherently a bad thing, you're not just making a game you're making a world. Giving depth to all the characters, making it "real". But it being a porn visual novel with vore aspects, I fell that it could be reworked.
The first and most important, is that there are no interactions I can do. I hit play, and read to the end, then maybe there's a sex scene or two. It's literally a Visual novel, a book with visual aspects. Especially in the classroom section, when I hit the science lab it might help to put in some interactions, like how to properly do the experiment. Most visual novels make it a "choose your adventure" and has options throughout. While I understand the Twins side story is meant to be a story and build who they and their families are, I feel that It should still have the selections so the player/reader doesn't feel left out.
The main game is similar in this aspect, while there are definitely more choices and shorter time between them, there are still very big gaps. Some sections will hit over 10 minutes of just dialogue when skipping, same line of thoughts. Then in chapter 1, where there was the journal, and Cara was given questions and had to recall from the journal, it seems that aspect was scrapped for chapter 2. Sure there is answering students' questions in class, but I feel those don't quite qualify as the same, but is similar.
Again, this isn't exactly a bad thing. A great game can be a bad one if there is no depth to anything. But here it is almost just a book. Being said I think that you should add more interruptions for player input. Can allow the player to process what was just said, and that they are a part of the story.

Hi there, sorry you are facing this issue. I'm unaware that the apk files have copyright issues, have you tried all the links and had the same issue occurring?

Hi there! Thanks for playing! I do agree with what you have mentioned about the side story having possibly more interactivity for the player, however, I do think this would be overly-complicating what should be a linear experience. With "The Twins' Dilemma", I mainly wanted to present a no-frills story that dived into characters other than Cara.
While I do agree that there is potential for interactive content in the side story or for there to be choices to the player; at the same time, I do not want to present choices that do not contribute to the overall flow of the side story. Yes, these choices can be added but if the player's choice did not matter, then I feel it's a negative experience (i.e. players may wonder why there's a choice when it doesn't impact the story). I do not want to rob the players of their freedom, and I also do not want to present choices that only serve to break the flow of the story to have the player respond without altering it (i.e. a choice for the sake of a choice). Having a choice to acknowledge what was said is an interesting idea, but every player's VN playstyle is different; while some may take the time to enjoy each and every piece of dialogue, there will always be players who want to skip right to the good stuff. There's nothing wrong with both playstyles, and I feel that having it the way it is suits both styles accordingly (players who take their time can always slow down and re-read dialogue while players who want to see the good stuff can skip without having them be stuck on a choice wanting their acknowledgment).
Regarding the main story and the gaps, I do try to split my work between building up the characters using day-to-day scenes and eventually executing the lewd scenes, as my main aim is to have those big climatic scenes have an impact instead of just Cara voring person A for no apparent reason. The "big gaps" are usually because they would involve mundane things in the time between the scene transitions, such as Cara traveling to her locations or Cara doing her laundry.
I do see where you're coming from about the journal and it is something I am considering bringing back! Thank you for the feedback and for playing, and I hope the following updates will tickle your fancy as well!

That is fair, though it may be beneficial to point out it’s mainly going to be straight story with minimal choices, since I’m sure those who see this as “just another porn game” aren’t going to be too happy about a multi-hour world and character building story. (I normally wouldn’t suggest this but as you said, you want it to be linear, straight to the point. Not for the horny, for the ones who cara lot about story.)
Well, not necessarily. Fluff interactions/speech always gets merit (at least in my books). Even if it doesn’t affect the story much, or at all, sleevting an option, getting a reaction, then going forwards still feels nice. Like with the Mom who hates Cara (I forgot her name, sorry) you could probably insert an option of how you deny her accusations. Be polite or be curt. In the end She won’t believe Cara and will have her “end”, but you could alter lines and reactions. (At least to me) that is enough, especially since I as the player am continuing to give the reactions I want to. I want to be professional and calm? I can contine that line this way. It doesn’t affect the story, but I still feel I’m contributing. Or in sex scenes, later on as “Cara” takes over you could probably let the option to let her take reign like she does with Alexis, in the sense where Cara becomes more demanding and dominating, rather than submissive. Again no affect to the story, but flavortext and reactions make all the difference.
I understand that it can break the flow sometimes, but there are also times where that is necessary. Again with thr twins it is a nonstop flow of data, which can be a bit overwhelming. An interaction can help the player process what was just said, while also still allowing their input. Even if no effect to the story, again, flavor does a lot. However as you said, each playstyle is different, I am leaning onto my preferences since I don’t really know how others like to play, however I do feel that my feelings are more or less reciprocated by others. (How true that is I do not know.) Of course some people will love nonstop story, some would hate it. Others want to skip it all to get to the sexy stuff, some want to micromanage everything. Different people, different priorities. I prefer a balance, but it’s quite hard to get everything perfect.
The big gaps I am referring to aren’t explicitly the core or sex, there are still areas where there is just story. Again not a bad thing, sometimes it is bad to put choices in the middle of story building. Like Sarafe’s introduction, I don’t think there were many choices during her backstory, and I do not think there should be one. (There could be a reaction at the end, again for fluff but I haven’t done that section in a while).
One other thing I’d like to add; My only real gripe about the game and your choices was locking the “feeder” dialogue with Mom behind a post-vore scat scene. No I am not shaming people who are into that, but I do not like it. At all. I want to know what happens when I present the dress/necklace, but I don’t want to see the scat scene. I am not asking you to remove it, as I said I am not shaming, but maybe an option to stay but “not show” or going back to retrieve the item.I’m not wuite sure what the best course of action is, I just feel conflicted that a potentially important story aspect requires me to go into something I’dreally rather not.
But in any case, I appreciate you taking the time to read my essay and respond back!

Re: Cara in Creekmaw - Episode 2: Enhanced
I think an image got missed in the enhanced version. I remember it being there in the original Chapter 2.
Also is it possible to have to have an option that restores the default RenPy menu with "skip", "save" and such? I thought it had been removed until I found it by accidentally mousing over the right corner.

Re: Cara in Creekmaw - Episode 2: Enhanced
Hi all! Sorry for the absence as I was working on the test release of EP3 that is just released (and updated in the main post!). This test release is mainly a continuation of the story from Episode 2 together with many new game mechanics that I'm testing out (i.e. for bugs/inconsistencies before committing to them fully in the full episode).
This release also splits the content into Season 1 (containing Prologue, EP1, EP2 and all previous side stories) and Season 2 (EP3 Test Release, i.e., new content). This was done to help keep the file sizes down as the full game now encroaches on 12GB, which is a nightmare to upload every release schedule and to maintain!
All in all I hope everyone enjoys the new update and let me know if you have any issues (I will try to respond to all of them!). Also, please read the newly-added FAQs to clarify any doubts or confusion you may have about this splitting of game files and what it means for any returning players!

You will have to set the futa twin in the cheat menu before interacting with the attic chest, otherwise it will skip the addition of two evidence that you will need!
