Uuuaarrghhh... RPG maker... Why U so Stupid???

Sorry, I just had to vent my frustration regarding the RPG maker software... Which is so assinine its almost comical. Its designed to make ONE VERY SPECIFIC TYPE OF RPG... And as soon as you wanna step out of that box even a tiny little bit you'll find yourself fighting with the system and having to find sneaky ways to impliment what you want with events and whatnot. The system itself is absolutely ludicrously restrictive. to the tune that the first final fantasy offered a level of complexity that is almost unattainable with the latest RPG maker edition. That's right, a videogame released in 1987 for an 8-bit console has battle mechanics that are too complex for this 100$, released in 2020 software to emulate. It is simply baffling how they didn't think to provide a path to some really basic battle mechanics.

This freaking software has been the bane of my existence for the last couple of months and I'm still surprised at discovering just how poorly its put together even after months of working with it.

No problem pal. We all gotta vent sometime and someway. Som do exercise, some scream until they drop, some just write it out, etc... If this is the way it works for you, then go for it! I mean, I don't think anyone on this tópic would be such a dirty, cowardly, heartless bastard/bitch so as to get on your case for soing something that is ultimately a healthy thing to you.
