Update 0.08 : Adventure and Revival -This update has honestly taken far too long to bring together, for a multitude of reasons. RL is giving me a great deal of grief, but a large part of delay getting this done was in the heavy work that needed doing on the game. It didn't help that the new main quest had some odd issues where enemies were coming out ludicrously overpowered for no apparent reason, despite having similar base stats to older enemies. The quest boss in particular required massive work to keep her from not only absolutely wiping the party in a single move, but being able to handle more damage than a god-tier enemy. Still no idea what caused them to be like that, but eventually got it to a managable level.
Because there's a lot to cover, I'm going to break this post up a bit.
REWORK / NEW SAVE NEEDED -
As mentioned in my main post, I've had to completely rework the switches, variables and other background content to keep it from becoming a disastrous mess. And this unfortunately means a fresh save will be necessary. Attempting to load older saves will result in your save being a broken mess that will not be playable, flat out. Thankfully this will mean the game will be a lot easier to modify in future, and won't be as prone to bugs. Admittedly there might be a few bugs hanging about as a result of these changes - do let me know if you find any - but overall the game's in a lot better a state now than it was before.
Because of the hassle of needing to start over, combined with the loss of the rewards from the two seasonal events that won't be available again until the end of the year, I've added three cheats to help recover progress. Interact with the fireplace in Lissi's room and you use the code 'BlackBook' to recieve a book that will transport you to a cheat zone.
The first cheat will boost your 'completed requests' to 12, allowing the unlock of most of the existing quests (though remember a lot of quests have requirements based on main story progression too). For anyone familiar with this game, the total requests required to unlock new quests has been heavily cut in this rework to cut down on grind. Noticed it was becoming an issue when I realised the pace I'd set for increase in requirements exceeded 30 requests for new content. This cheat will also give you 3000g to help cover any gear you need in repeating quests.
The second and third cheats will allow you to replay the Halloween and Christmas events, and get related rewards, despite being out of season, and won't lock you out of playing them this year when that time comes around again.
Note that each cheat can only be used once. Once used, the cheat will be locked. These will also be removed at a later date, likely in the time coming up to Halloween.
Apologies again to old players for this restart. I'm aware its a hassle, but since it'll make the game way better, hope you can bear with it.
NEW QUESTS -
There are three new quests in this update, though one can only be partially completed at the moment. The first is the main quest in which you'll undertake the trial to join the Adventurer's Guild with the aid of Kina, as well as Rosa if unlocked, which will not only allow you access to the Storm's Eye zone in the next update, but (also in next update) unlock the ability to complete jobs through the guild as an alternate means of earning gold. This quest also brings a lot of background lore details to light.
The second quest is the quest for Caitlin I've been working on for way too long now. Though the quest was easy enough to complete, her heavy amount of content post-quest ended up being pretty heavy, with two sex scenes and three vore, as well as a side scene that occasionally appears post-quest. This new quest, obtained by talking to Freya, allows you to unlock these new scenes with Caitlin, as well as unlocking her as a potential party member.
The third quest, the not-yet-finished one, involves one of the new NPCs I've added to the village. By taking on this quest, you'll unlock a new potential solution to a quest to be added in a couple of updates' time. Originally I wasn't going to add them yet, but I felt it'd be better to add her early so they didn't just appear out of nowhere later.
MINOR CONTENT -
There's also a fair bit of minor content in this update. For one thing, a number of new villagers have been added to Devour Village, non-humans. Since most of the villagers before now were human, or very close to, I decided to add a bit of variety to better fit with the game's lore.
The Halloween event item has also been added as a trophy to Lissi's house, with related ghost events.
Also, because of the lack of vore content in her quest, I've added a series of scenes that can be seen by players who got the best ending to Aurine's quest. They are all started in the same way, with a 1 in 10 chance of them being available on any given in-game day by talking to Aurine. There are three different possible scenes (involving three different preysluts) that can be seen, with them being chosen at random when the event is triggered. The chance of event occuring is low, I'm aware, but I didn't want it to be too common so that it a) didn't make sense and b) got in the way of base content by occuring too often.
STATISTICS AND ROSA'S GEAR -
One of the longtime issues with Rosa as a party member is she's pretty much made of glass. The ability available by completing Aurine's quest helps somewhat, but to boost her up a bit, I've got around to creating unique gear for her. It's pretty weak at present, but will be upgradable through later quests.
Weapons in general have also been modified. The main purpose in different times before now has been the different skills, but little beyond that. To remedy this, I've added stat boosts from different weapon types. For example, swords give a slight defense boost, whereas bows grant bonus crit chance. Hopefully this will make weapon choice a bit more interesting.
I've also boosted the target rate of tank-type classes (warrior and holy knight) to make them better tanks. This only affects Megan and Shel at present, but will apply to others in future.
OTHER -
There's a fair bit of other changes and additions, but I'm not going to list it all here. That's what the changelog is for

Overall, the game does seem in a much better state now though, so hopefully it'll be more enjoyable for players. If anyone does encounter any bugs - likely, given the amount of changes and the fact I can't test EVERYTHING - do mention them so I can try and solve the issues.
Overall, glad to finally have this out, and hope people enjoy it. The next update will introduce the Storm's Eye, related new meat girls and requests, as well as the introduction of Guild Quests.
