Re: WarVore - 2.1 RELEASE - 11/10/2024
I found a bug which breaks certain parts of the game.
Aside from that, I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this game as it's not my usual type, but holy crap it's incredible! Well done!

I get that bug too, but eventually I manage to get somewhere without a fight happening so I don't end up at Northwatch

Re: WarVore - 2.1 RELEASE - 11/10/2024
I no longer remember what caused it but someone pointed it out to me after the last release so it's already been fixed for the next update.
Guess you must have figured out by now, but you can get it exploring the swamps in Dustwallow and also fighting and winning against Lyria.

Re: WarVore - 2.1 RELEASE - 11/10/2024
I think I've done all there is to do in the current version, so here's my full review.
This game is nearly perfect. Minor complaints exist, like only being allowed to sell one armor scrap at a time (when sometimes I'd like to sell more than one to save time), but they hardly darken an otherwise brilliant game.
The flavor text is exquisite, although I'm not much of a connoisseur of that so I blaze through much of it, and the characters are all likable, or in the case of evil characters, still well made and I enjoy interactions with them.
Exploration is thoroughly rewarded! To new players, try everything once. A few times, I did something having no idea it was a hard requirement to proceed later on, and if a fight gives you setbacks, don't give up! It definitely gets easier down the road. The armor and weapon upgrades are all worth it, and there are some interactions out of the way that grant you permanent health increases, which are much needed for the later fights.
Speaking of difficult fights, it took a long time, but I eventually defeated both Lyria (without her holding back) and Vanessa in 2.1. I wouldn't say it's worth the effort (I had to fish for numbers a LOT), but if you're curious and don't want to use 16 health potions on Lyria like I did or get extremely lucky against Vanessa...
I love the random encounters, but wish there was a list somewhere so I could know if there is anything left to fish for. I even got a random encounter with Marshal Dughan when I was moving back to Goldshire, well after I got my own keep and everything. I wouldn't ask for a list of spoilers, but maybe things to watch for so I can check the boxes.
In particular, I love the sea encounter near the maelstrom, and the variance in repeat encounters should you be unlucky (or lucky!) enough to encounter them. No spoilers for newcomers, though.
I can't wait for more content, especially with night elves. I have a thing for them.
Overall, 9/10 due to some bugs, but I'm sure those will be cleaned up pretty good in the future! Is there some way for people to support this project in any way outside word of mouth?

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the game so much. Hope the future updates will be as well received. As for support, all I want is for people to enjoy the game and if they want to leave reviews or suggestions as they've been doing here, then of course that motivates me to do more.

Dustwallow is just the swampy region outside of Theramore, and you've been there already if you've also been in Eastvale, since doing the story of one is a requirement to unlock the other.

Lol no need to beat yourself over asking, it's what the forum is for, I'm actually sorry I didn't reply earlier.

Re: WarVore - 2.1 RELEASE - 11/10/2024
I have another bit of feedback: There needs to be an option to lose a fight on purpose other than surrender. Not only does it give different dialogue, but some storylines are altered if you lose a fight, such as when you're after Catelyn's treasure. I found that, in full thorium and with 50 HP, it's impossible to lose to her. Because I overprepared earlier, I'm missing out on certain options.

Re: WarVore - 2.1 RELEASE - 11/10/2024
That is a bit by design because I like encouraging people to have more than one playthrough, hence why there's so many secrets and hidden/alternate scenes. In this case, sure, you would go prepared and win, but if you didn't and you lost, you'd get a different outcome, in this case "secretly" because usually if you lose you die so people would expect the same and strive to win. Same if you deliver the loot to Catelyn or sell it beforehand, she reacts differently.
In the future I might do as I did for 1.0 and make a post with all the hidden stuff, but, to be honest, even I forget some of the stuff I put in the game, or no longer remember why I did so.

You probably have thought about it, but you should take notes in one or more txt/doc (such as one per location or one per character), and of course make backups (easier by compressing the txt/doc folder with 7z for exemple, as one file is easier to manage than many).

I do keep notes but it's mostly for the purpose of creating a list of what to add to the next version, with all that people suggest and so on. Which by the way I'm back to working in full, for whoever wants to know. Soon(tm).

Lets goooooo, can't wait to see more cleavage vore from expired potions, or even just same size cleavage vore. Just more absorption in general hehehehe.

Yeah... Thank you but no.
Expired potions are fine but any other vore type than OV is a waste of time that could go in OV scenes or more locations/characters instead, just to please a minority with vore types that aren't even vore to begin with (vorarephilia is about eating/to be eaten, eating/to be eaten = begin in the mouth and so on in the disgetive system, period. It has absolutely nothing to do with breasts or whatever other body parts for other "vore" types. Same can be said with absorption.)
Taking into account what people like to add it in the game is of course fine, but also taking into account what people don't want to see in it should also be considered all the same.
I'm not kink shaming or anything, I'd just prefer if people leave games with a story and/or world that focus on one fetish alone (especially the good ones, such as this game) instead of wanting what they like in it that's unrelated to the game's world (in this case, trying not to end up digested alive in a woman's stomach), which then ends up taking more and more place instead of the fetish a game is about.

You do know that WarVore has multiple forms of vore in it already and different fetishes that follow being tiny right..?
Like..
Crushing
Unbirth
Absorption via Slime, Elmentals, etc
Soul Vore
Food TF into Vore (You get turned into Chocolate, Bread, and Cupcake in a few scenes)
Monster vore
Feral Vore
Are just some I can name off the top of my head.
I don't get why you felt it was necessary to comment or quote me since you aren't the developer, I am just happy Bane is continuing work on the game and hope to see more scenes that interest me. Not cool to speak like you are a soul force for the game's development and what is being added. I've already shared and requested the expired shrinking potion before when Bane asked for new scenes to be added. If you want to make a game solely focused on Shrunken Vore, then you can and I can name 4 games centered around that. WarVore and Eka to that extent is not solely just Giantess vore.
Speaking of new stuff, more Same Size stuff too would be amazing with greater yield from nutrients being absorbed >:3

Sorry, but I have to disagree.
This Forum also exists (in my opinion) for the exchange between the Users. So it should be completely ok to answer to other comments.
1. I am not against Same Size Vore, Shrinking, or other variations. But I just think it should focus on Oral Vore.
I think maybe "LoveandPeace" meant that, because the way it is in the Game, Shrinking, SameSize, Absorbtion,Food TF, Monster Vore, etc. are all Oral Vore (I know there are some exceptions, anal vore for example)
I am not against these Variations and of course it is "Baneblade40k" Game and he should do what he wants and is motivated to do.
2. What I just meant is, that Oral Vore (and anal) (not unbirth or Breast vore for example) should stay the Main type (because the Way i see it is the Focus of this Game).
I am Sorry if I was disrespectfull, but I just wanted to say my opinion on the matter.
Have a nice Day

Re: WarVore - 2.1 RELEASE - 11/10/2024
The main focus of the game is oral vore, and no matter how many variants of that or other completely different kinks are added, it will remain the majority of the scenes. That said, there are already well over a 100+ of good old regular vore scenes like that, so, for the sake of variation and even my own sanity when working on this, I don't mind at all exploring other things and adding them as well.
Things like crushing, foot stuff, absorption, disposal, furry creatures and like half of the rest that's in the game, for example, aren't my things at all, but I also don't mind them enough that I can explore and experiment as if they were, even if on a purely creative level or for the sake of narrative, worldbuilding or whatever else serves as an excuse. There are things I will never add, and others I tried but couldn't, like hard vore. But in general, if people suggest something, and I don't mind it, I'll experiment to see if it can be added, even if only a scene or two.
Which is the case with allflynn's absorption suggestions. I had already added something similar, but all he requested was a few more like it and even gave me an excuse of why they'd make sense in the story (the expired potions idea). So, if I have something I don't mind doing, and even an easy idea of why it should show up... why not? Again, there's like 100+ regular oral vore scenes, and like 3 or 4 of those absorption scenes. I don't see the issue. And even if I add more, of that idea or others, they'll always remain just a few in comparison.
