Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on updates, which bothers me that he doesn't acknowledge the main issue why this game is frustrating instead of just constantly nerfing the apex predators (and Student Predators as well since they share the same script).

I would go on another rant, but I think I've already said enough.

well i actually managed to talk with the dev i spoke to him about our frustration regarding a lack of changelogs to be brief he does keep a log of everything and was contemplating creating one for the viewers well since he did add one after this i think this is a plus for us.

Yeah, a proper changelog (similar to what I did in my first post) would be highly suggested.
You wouldn't know how many people that doesn't know that there's a hidden easter egg that's been added to the game, and the dev didn't explain about the new Predator Sense system.
And not like... Y'know... Creating one blog and then deleting it (Or just deleting pre-existing changes and replace it with the recent changes only). I've never seen any developer does this.

I didn't know there was an easter egg. How can I find it?

Spoiler: show
- Beat Tulpy's Nightmare Mode
- Beat Double Predator Normal Mode
- On Double Predator Nightmare Mode, if you don't see something unusual with the students, keep exiting and re-entering Nightmare Mode until you find it. There's a random chance that the easter egg will show up.

Thanks, but it seems I'm unable to win in dual predator mode, so I won't be able to see the eater egg.

Steam has rejected this game so this game will not be on steam.

Okay, now he said that it won't support multiple platforms despite his previous comments stated otherwise AND changing his code that's mobile friendly? I don't understand him.
Also, the former two should've been in his game description, not an individual blog post (Aside from not being on steam part).

Yep, only occurs if you beat Ligeska(Snake girl). It's internally called "Two Preds".

As a game developer myself, I can understand his frustration.
Well, steam's decision is final, so let's see where the project will be heading towards.

Has anyone heard anything from the Dev since the last announcement? Some people in the Itch thread are thinking it was abandoned since steam rejected the game, but that's not what his announcement said. I know its been pasted above like 3 times so I won't do so again, but i just wanted to poke around, I bought it shortly before things went quiet so I'm unaware if things are being worked on or not :p

He was seen commenting ever since 20 days ago (As of the time I was posting this comment).
Yes, Steam did reject his game into steam, but due to the lack of transparency about the progress (And he does not keep blog posts), I don't know what's going on.
Let's just wait until like let's say... Next year February to see if the game has made any progress. If not, then I don't know what.

СейчасЗдесь wrote:Funny you mention it, I had been working on some modding shenanigans for this game a month or so ago. Managed to mod the game into something more to my liking - larger preds, no mass vore (except in nightmare mode), much longer digestion, a four-pred mode with more students, more weight-gain, disposal (sort-of), bigger tits and ass and all that.

But the latest version he seemingly decided to put stronger encryption on the gamefiles, so now I can no longer mod the game :V. Or, at least not the newest version.
Not entirely sure what his deal is, but the author is a strange fellow for sure.

Oh hey cool, glad I'm not the only one who encounter the same issue where the developer added even more encryption to the game. ... Or when he unnecessarily changing almost EVERY SINGLE VALUE FOR NO REASON.

Mine is more like this:
- Extending the time from 3 dings to 4 dings and changing the time logic from 8 minutes per ding into 10 minutes per ding (40 minutes. 16+ more minutes than before). The reason for this change is because I wanted to give the player more room to explore and not feeling like I'm always speedrunning than hiding and sneaking lmao. This is especially necessary for Nightmare Mode, since the strategy I used are more time consuming.
- Having an extensive cheat option which I will list them later (Which will be unlocked when beating all predators).
- PC Predators will have the ability to devour no matter the hunger percentage.
- PC Predators that ate the preys won't let the prey escape to balance out the noise frequency.
- Players able to drop items even if being chased.
- Nightmare Mode's hunger reverted back to the old version, because I don't know what the developer was doing when they're updating the game. It was fine before. :?
- Adding more students from 8 students into 20 (Helpful even with the extended timer)
- All characters are unlocked by collecting their books, no exceptions. I had to make a little work around, because the developer made a failsafe that when someone chooses Ligeska, it automatically switches to Person/Guy. >.>
And a couple of minor changes to balance out the playable predators.

Here are the cheats I've implemented by pressing any buttons. I have yet to make an actual menu in game. :lol:
Spoiler: show
F5 = Toggle Cheats
F8 = Toggle Many Students (Forces to spawn all 40 students regardless of the modes)
F3 = Toggle Third person perspective
F1 = Force to show key helper (Even works on Nightmare Mode)
Insert = Toggle Timer
1 = Toggle Stomach Escape (NPC) [Prevents prey from escaping]
2 = Toggle Stomach Escape (Player)
5 = Toggle Invisible Player (Player won't be seen by predators)
0 = Force All Preds to become Hungry (Including Student Preds)
, = Toggle Digestion (Player)
. = Toggle Digestion (NPC)
Equals = Toggle Giant Player/Apex Player. The game will only end if all students are digested.
X = Force All Preds to have an upset stomach
C (Hold) = 100% escape chance during the upset stomach. Only works for NPC's

Thankfully I still have the older version to tinker around with it, but like you said, can't do the newest version. I'll only download the newest version if the developer isn't going to be stubborn with these changes AND if there's something more useful than just mini-updates to the game.

Any chance you'll post the cheats? At least in the form of a cheat-engine table or something? The game is abandoned and I think the author won't mind.

IIRC the next thing he planned to do after the steam release was add a new pred and create custom models/outfits so he didn't have to use that dumb green void under the skirt so if it ain't abandoned he's probably doing that

A lot of people on the Itch page have been asking if it's been abandoned; considering it got rejected from Steam it might've killed any development he had planned for it (which is a bit stupid imo, Itch is still reasonably decent for Indie games) so, we'll either wait and see him return with an update or watch it become left in the dust.

Not to mention, the developer removed the "Might add" section in his description, which I thankfully saved in my post in the first page.
