Re: A way out (Vore survival game)
thought I'd post that the steam cancelation announcement was removed, what that means is yet to be determined but this means either he is still around or itch removed it themselves for some reason

I noticed that too. The dev has a terrible habit of removing their own blog posts, just to keep the... Guide up?
I'm going to say this as many times as possible: He can just move the guide in the game itself, like a .txt format that came with the download or just directly in the game.
It's either that, or like you mentioned, Itch removed his announcement blog post. Every time he removes a blog post; it counts as an update. But in this situation, it doesn't count as an update.
Whichever the case, here's hoping that he does return to release a massive update.
Also, in case if anyone didn't know about the announcement:
This game will not support any language other than English.
This game will not support multiple platforms.
Steam has rejected this game so this game will not be on steam.

Not to get anyone's hopes up, but I recall ghost removing the most recent update post before posting a new one. So there is a chance this will amount to something

Yeah, he stated that he'll only remove the recent blog post after 24 hours is up. But the announcement was well passed 24 hours (It was like 50+ days ago last time I checked) before it was removed recently.

Dev has returned to remove comments and pretty much say the game has been done for a while in a cryptic way.
"This game has been in this status ever since the four predators were added.
Released — Project is complete, but might receive some updates"

He's a weirdo like that to be fair, I bought the game and everything but he deleted my comment which was a simple question about a feature that was added the month after anyway.

What was the question anyways?

He didn't said he isn't working on the game either, so lets hope he update it. A new pred or some places to hide would be nice.

he does like his suspense, he's deleted a ton of comments pertaining to features he incorporated over time and often curates out stuff he thinks you should play to see
otherwise I feel he's tapping the "bar closes when I say it closes and you drunks make me want to close it" sign

Or he deletes the comment if he feels like answering it himself. Whichever the case, him moderating the comment section still believes me that he's planning for more updates.

Oh it was just "Can we play as a smaller character, like the pixie boss?" morning after he deleted my comment with no reply or warning left me feeling very confused, he updated it a month later, and to no one's shock you could now play as the pixie herself lmao

Ah, so Tulpy, one of my favorite predator to play as.
But yeah, every time I comment, it's a 50/50 to whether if he's going to keep my comment intact, or with Sneak 100, deletes it with no reply or warning.

At least he should seriously add something that the player can do after you 100% the game.
Otherwise, I'll be sticking with my previously modded version of the game.

I remember being skeptical about sharing the modded version, but if its done and dusted for development for the most part do you think a shared link is in order in the near future?

I'm a bit hesitant on sharing my modded version of the game, despite that all I did was implement funny cheats into the game (Including what I simulate like a Free Roam mode where you can do whatever you want with no apex predator hunting you down). Plus, I did mention that I'll give it like a couple months or later on next year if the developer no longer updating their game after months of inactivity.
The only downside is that I'm unable to mod the recent version of the build, so I had to use one of the previous versions where I can mod the game from there.
At least it's something I can do after 100% the game.
