Hello everyone! After years and years of abandoning the project, I have finally returned to revive my old PCraft mod with some huge new features!
Before I continue I want to list the requirements for this new version:
    - Minecraft (Java Edition) 1.20.1
    - Forge version 27.3.0 (or higher, though I recommend that base version)
    - Geckolib, the mod's new animation system runs on this!
    - Curios API, needed for some extra stuff
(I highly reccomend using Curseforge to set this all up and then just manually adding the PCraft file into your mods list)

What's New?

This video here will show a few of the really exciting new features in this update! There are currently 4 unique preds in the mod with even more coming.

There are some very exciting new features in PCraft Revorn, such as:
    - Fully animated preds! From swallowing, to struggles, to even digestion~
    - New spectating system, get put into spectator mode with the Darkness effect and become anchored to your pred's vicinity, letting you get whatever angle you want of them!~
    - When you are digested, all of your items will be left in your pred's stomach, you'll have to kill them to get your items back!
    - Preds will have a chance to eat (almost) any entity they attack. Zombie Girls will eat villagers and even your pets if they aggro onto them. Better slay the pred before the prey inside melts!~

Will you ever add Feral or Non-Humanoid preds?
A: No, I am not comfortable with non-humanoid preds. The closest you will probably see is hybrids (centaurs and such)

Will you make a pred to replace X vanilla mob?
A: I want to move away from vanilla pred replacements. The Zombie is probably the best case to do a replacement, after that there is less reason to and I honestly can't fully recreate each mob's full functionality so unique preds is more interesting.

When will you bring back VCraft?
A: VCraft is currently just not fun for me to work on. I will get around to it when I feel like it, but that will not be until I feel like I've gotten enough progress on PCraft.

Absolutely fantastic. Loved the first iterations of the mod back in the day and was always sad it never got updated.
Hope development goes well, I'll be eagerly following along. :-D

you gonna be doing player pred content too? cause internals kinda needs to be dethroned as the definitive best minecraft vore mod, maybe you could borrow some of it's ideas (read, the one unique idea the mod has, which carries the mod hard even though it isn't even implemented well and is buggy and laggy as all hell)

I actually have an early alpha I had worked on and released to my discord, but that will be remade, more than likely, so I am not quite ready to share it here. I keep the two mods separate so that players can choose if they want to be preds only, prey only, or if they want to play with both (especially now that VCraft will be relying on a special playermodel mod for visible bellies as well as Curios API for special new accessories to modify the vore process).

and what of ~~ripping off~~ taking inspiration from internals only notable (not really) unique idea (that being the...internals...system, with it's customizable "stomachs")?
(note- i say not really unique because the vorecraft server basically does a less complex version of the same thing)

I actually have my own mod that does exactly that. Its called VCraft RP version and a remake of it is almost finished. It specifically handles player/player content for multiplayer purposes, whereas normal VCraft does not. It is purposefully built with the idea in mind that interactions between players with fetish content like this should not be tied to gameplay mechanics like normal VCraft and instead should be a tool to aide in roleplay purposes, empowering players to interact with eachother in friendly ways where (by default) nether player has direct power over the other unless one configures their preference setting to allow so.

Some of its useful features are being able to make internal settings, though these are not as easy to set up as there needs to be an area set up to house the physical stomachs instead of an entire extra dimension (extra dimensions are more taxing on servers). And a big thing is you can make up to 6 different stomachs per player that you can switch to on the fly, so that people who like to play as multiple characters on servers can have different guts for different characters. There is also a nice spectator system that allows the prey to spectate their pred and get good angles of what they look like (this mod is intended to be used with Customizeable Player Models for its insane level of customization). There is also the option to display public digestion messages that look like death messages, but these don't actually kill players as its more fun when you can take part in roleplay like this without literally having to die.

I have never released VCraft RP version publicly, but with my remake being almost done, I should probably put that out finally when it is.

Issue: attempting to spawn mod enemies fails. The mob despawns immediately. I am using Tlauncher, which used to be compatible with the old mod and does seem like it should work with the current one to.

Do you mean 47.3.0? Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1 doesn't go back that far.

Very good job, Will be looking forward to seeing further updates and maybe even making a modpack to use with this once the roster of mobs have been expanded.
However this mod is still early so I wont expect anything to fast, anyway onto some less fun stuff for you.

Bug: Found this weird bug when creating a automatic system to feed villagers to a zombie girl, the ai stops working when they are standing on a slime block and I would have to guess the same applies to honey blocks although I have not been tested it yet.

The one bug I found out of the way onto suggestions:
first things first things that will likely been in the full mod anyway but I will still mention.
1. Alternat swallowing when the pred already has had some growth
2. multiple levels of growth
3. since some mobs can attack both players and other mods multi-prey up to 3-4 [At max capasity mob should either be immobile or extremely slow]
4. different stomach sizes based on prey size so bump (endermite, fish), small (Chicken, rabbit, wolf.) Average (Player, villager, zombie) Massive (Iron golem, warden) [if anything will be able to swallow mobs that size whole]
5. digestion / anti-digestion / digestion resistance potions and digestion protection enchants
6. preds with prey being more mobile so they don't sit around as much [show of them walking animations]
7. random struggle animations playing for when a pred has mob prey
8. Husk and Drowned girl [I have just came to prefer husks over the original zombies]

Now onto less likely suggestions
1. anti-acid suit a leather grade protection armour that give immunity to mobs acids. [Exists only to look at the struggling animations without dying over and over]
2. for variants of ridable mobs and possible unique ridable (Expect pig and strider) have them be centaurs and when you 'Ride' you enter their womb giving you the benefit of both vore and transport without the risk of death (They would still be able to vore normally obviously. And yes this idea might be inspired by some of the features found in another vore game)
3. fitting with the suggestion above alternate variations of vore that one or maybe two mobs can do. (Primarily tail is what pops into my head but any could work with the right mob and theming.)

Sorry for the mass of suggestions but I hope at least one helps you in some way. If not, I am sure I will think of more as update release.

I've tried to everything, I got curseforge, input the jar file for the pcraft mod into the mod folder and have 47.3.0 forge/1.20.1 for the minecraft java edition. The potions appear and work but the zombie girl just won't show up from any of the zombies I spawn, when I try to spawn them it's just normal zombies, normal drowned etc.

I would like an option to just be eaten by every default mob as well as the new ones if that is possible and feasible. I just like the idea of being able to get eaten by any mob not even just hostile or new custom ones.

Not gonna happen. I'd need to make custom models and stuff and all of the default mobs are outside of my comfort range of making into preds. I will only be making preds out of new entities or entity variants, though MALE PREDS ARE ON THE TABLE THIS TIME!!
